Five - Connor Isnt Alive

"Okay let's go robots" she says as she stands up

I don't like that, 'robots'

"Um Laura?" I say as she looks at me "can you not say robots, I kinda don't like it"

"Oohhh okay, sorry Y/N, didn't know you liked things or not" she turns away

"Don't worry, we all have our misunderstandings" Connor says as he stands up and as he does that, he looks at me with a suspicious look

GOD FUCKING DAMMIT CONNOR
His eyes just make me wanna die in his arms

Laura walks out of the office and gets into the car

"Whats with your light blue blushing" Connor asks

"Uh, um, what?" I say confused

Connor sighs, smiles and then gets into the front seat
While I get into the back.

Connor pov

We pull up to the building

"It looks abandoned" Laura says

"Where else would a deviant hide" Y/N says

"Yeah right" Laura agrees

We all step out of the car and I have a bad feeling about this case, it doesn't seem right

We walk up to the top.

Bang, crash

"Did you hear that?" Y/N says softly

"Here what?" Laura asks

There was another bang

"That?" She repeated

"It's coming from inside" i state

Y/N glares at me
"Stating the obvious" she say in a smart ass way

I give her an annoyed look but then look forward at the door

i then knock on the door "Open up!"
i say in a harsh tone, silence fills the air. after a pause "detroit police" i say again

"welp that didnt work" laura laughs

Laura then crashes the door down, birds fly everywhere and scatter

"Shit, fucking birds" Laura cusses

She then started pointing her gun rapidly around, checking if it's clear.
She lowers her gun

"Clear" she sighs

Y/N and I exchange a look and start to search

A stool has been knocked over
Bird cage, also has been knocked over.
A poster... Wait a poster??

I scan the poster, huh, freshly peeled??

I peel the poster off and I have found a hole with a diary?

All of a sudden i see Y/N and she connects LED's straight away, flashing yellow

Found an LED in the bathroom, RA9 references... And what's that
She asks through the LED and she disconnects and walks over to the bird cage. She stands there for a moment

"He is still here" I whisper

"Where?" Laura asks

I look up at the roof where the stool is.
Y/N takes the advantage not to fail this time and climbs up into the roof but then she falls to the ground as the android runs out the room

"Y/N! Are you okay" Laura asks

"I am perfectly fine" as she gets up and runs after the android

She looks back, Laura and myself are running after the deviant as well. We run through the farm feilds and as I am losing him, I see Y/N running straight for the android
I am distracted

I keep following. CRASH

Your pov

I see Connor get crushed by a machine

Y/N don't draw tears, stay android, you are not a deviant
FOR FUCKS SAKE CONNOR,

I see Laura up on the roof horrified at what happened
The deviant, get it now
I ignore the fact about Connor and keep going. Making sure I don't look suspicious about feelings and whatsoever

I eventually get up on the roof and and the deviant pushes Laura off the roof and runs away

"LAURA!" I yell in fear

"Calm down, I'm fine, just help me up will you" she chuckles

I help her up and look in the direction where the deviant went

"Fuck" I say out of no where

"Um what Y/N" Laura is shocked "you never fucking swear, what the hell"

"Sorry Laura, I was caught off guard" you say as you look down at dead Connor and i sink to my knees

"Oh, right Connor" Laura states

"He-he is gone" I studder

"This isn't like you Y/N" Laura shakes her head

Laura gently helps me up and we get back into the car and drive off to the office. I sit there Connor, I'm sad, not in my program but it's not use anymore to fight it, I just...

"Zoning out again?" Laura states

"Yeah, I am" I say sadly

"I never seen you sad before Y/N, are you sure your alright" she asks

"No, I am not, Connor he is...".I stop myself and start again "I learn emotions and how to portray them"

"Oh, well okay but Don't worry Y/N, tomorrow will be fine, we might not see Connor but we still have you" she sympathetically pats my shoulder as we arrive at the station

We walk in

"Oh damn Hank your here" Laura says excitedly

"Did I miss something?" He asks as he looks to see where Connor was

"Oh uh, Connor he, he got crushed on a pursuit" you say as you start tearing up

"Wait wait wait... Y/N, are you crying" Hank questions

I wipe my tears "no"

Laura and Hank look at each other in shock "deviant?" They both say in unison

I stop and look up at them...
I am not deviant, I just adapt to human emotions

"I am not deviant, I just adapt to human emotions" I say  "don't you cry when someone dies?" You ask

"Oh uh right yea" Hank looks sad

"Then why aren't you crying" I ask

"Well, sorry to offend, but he is a machine, he isn't alive" Hanks looks down at his desk

I look at him

I am offended, no one would care if I died

this was a sad ending to this chapter but you guys already know what happens if Connor dies, bit gonna say because maybe some people don't but still
