Connors pov

Lieutenant Laura and Hank are in the front seat of Hanks car while Y/N and myself are in the back. We stop at a fast food place.

"Taco Bell?" Y/N reads the sign

"You guys stay here a second, we won't be long" Lieutenant Laura states so Y/N and myself wait

Hank and Laura hop out and Y/N and I just sit there.

She seems like she wants to ask questions? I wonder

"Connor?" Y/N says my name and i look her way

"Yes Y/N?" I answer

She looks to the front of her "How Long have you been on this mission?"

"Around a month Y/N" I feel look at her and continue "I was on a case with an android named Daniel, holding a child captive, threatening to jump off the building they were on"

I turn to her as i hold out my arm and gestures for her to hold it, she seems hesitant but she holds it.
She sees my memory, i was shot in the left shoulder as i tried to earn Daniels trust, eventually Daniel let go of the child and the swat fired at him and i walked away like it was nothing.

At that thought, she quickly pulled away in shock, and quickly looked to the front of her.

"Y/N, what happened" i asked sincerely. Her LED is yellow.

Troubled?
Did I do something wrong?
"N-nothing" she looks down at her arm

"Y/N are you-" I am cut off by the car doors opening

Lieutenant Laura and Hank hop in with their food laughing

"And then, and then HE KNOCKS THE FUCKER IN THE HEAD!" Hank says as he cracks up laughing along with Laura. Y/N's LED is blue again

"Lieutenant Anderson?" I call

Both Laura and Hank look back

"We have to go to the case?" I raise and eyebrow

I see Y/N look at me, never taking her eyes off

"Alright alright" Hank looks forward to start the car "party pooper" he grunts

Party pooper? What does that mean

"Uh what does 'party pooper' mean?" I ask "I do not get rid of waste at parties"

I see Y/N smile, she obviously knows what it means

"Ugh just forget about it" Hank groans

Hank starts the car and they drive off to the next case

Your pov

"Here we are the house of Carlos Ortiz" Laura exclaims

I look at the house as we all hop out the car and as Lieutenant Laura and Hank walk into the house, Connor and I stand there and scan the building.
LED flashing yellow
"No footprints" Connor exclaims

"No sign damage to the house" I explain

"You are stating the obvious" Connor raises his eyebrow

"Sorry Connor, I haven't really gotten the experience" i say looking toward the house. I feel his gaze on me.

"Hurry up slow pokes" Laura said with a sigh

Connor and myself walked into the house, in the corner of my eye, I see Connor scanning every detail, I watch in awe as I look at him...

"Y/N? The mission?" Connor looks at me and I quickly look away

"right" I say looking around the house, scanning everything

"Look who showed up, Hank Anderson and his hot daughter" An officer speaks

"Ugh jesus Gavin, leave her alone" Hank growls "just tell us what happened"

"Well Carlos Ortiz died from his android of course, stabbed him around uh-"

Gavin is cut off by Connor "twenty eight stab wounds"

"Uh, yea thanks Connor" Gavin is creeped out but I sure am not, it's normal for me but for humans, no so much

"Uh you? Whats your name" Gavin says pointing to me

"I'm Y/N, The android sent by-"
Cut off by Gavin "yea yea sent by cyber life" he sighs

After officer Gavin explains to Connor and myself, we both start searching for clues.

After we both scan and checked everything, I am certain we hit a dead end in this investigation. I walked towards Laura who was leaning against the wall, with her eyes shut.

"Lieutenant?" I say to Laura

"SHIT, gosh Y/N Jesus Christ, don't do that" she said in shock

"Sorry Lieutenant but I think we can't go further" I explain

"Um why?" She speaks

"I haven't seen to have gotten anywhere close to figuring out where the deviant is" I say as I tilt my head

"Don't worry Y/N, we will figure it out" she speaks sincerely and goes back to leaning against the wall

"Y/N, could you come here a minute" Connor calls from the kitchen

I walk over to where Connor was and it quickly connected our LED's
I flinch in shock
Deviant didn't leave the house, it is still inside, there was a ladder in the hall way that was moved, check the attic
The LED's disconnected and I look straight at the kitchen chair and I pick it up.

"Oi, Y/N, what that he'll are you doing" Gavin yells

"Trust me detective Reed" I say as I continue

I place the chair down "thank you" Connor nods and smiles, and I smile back.
Connor goes up and I follow
Connor gestures me to follow and I follow
Suddenly a black shadow runs across the rubbish scattered room, Connor was shocked but kept going. It looked back at me putting his index figure up to his lips signalling for me to be quiet
All of a sudden we run into the android

"Please, please, don't tell them" it pleads

I feel a bit sympathetic towards this android. But the mission

I notice Connors LED was yellow it doesn't flash, it's stays that way, he must be in shock as well as me

"It was a accident, I was attacked and i- please, I'm begging you" it pleased once more, I was going to walk away but my mission, our mission

"What the fuck is going on up there Connor?" Hank yells out

"It's in here!" Connor answers as his LED turns blue again

They take the deviant down but I still stand there looking in the place where the deviant was, he could've been free if we hadn't of said anything...

"Y/N? You coming down" Connor calls

"Uh, yes, coming" I stuffer trying to wrap my head around this case. I then go back down

"Good work Connor and Y/N, you guys make a great team" Laura praises us
I smile in response and so does Connor.

We all get back in the car towards the police station to interrogate the deviant

OMFG GUYS GUYS THERE IS THIS MOVIE ON NETFLIX AND IT REMINDED ME OF THIS GAME TSITDITDIYDOGDOYFYFJGIBIUDYDYDGIGKBOJLBJCYDFJBIBOB I WAS LIKE WOAHHHHHH I mean it doesn't seem like it at the start BUT IN THE END LIKE WOAH it's called 'extinction' my dad was watching it while I'll writing this chapter and my mind was like blown anyway anyway
