The last few days have been hell,
The bus drive back was silent, the aura around Luke made everyone want to sink into a black hole ,Kate was eating herself alive about it , McQuaid looks like a ticking time bomb, Emaline is confusing the fuck out of me and Tyler is just...Tyler.

I stood at my locker trying to get the combination right,
After getting it wrong the sixth time I just decided to give up and right on que Emaline has made her way up behind me.
"Hey",She said making me look over at her,
"Holy shit",I look down at her.
"Who are you and what have you done with Emaline?",I raise a brow making her laugh,
"Can we talk?",She asks playing with the end of her flannel shirt.
"Well it's your lucky day cause I was about to have a breakdown, let's go",I say turning a corner and leaning against the wall.
"What's up?",I ask looking over to her.
"I'm sorry I've been a bitch the past few days",She said avoiding eye contact.
"It's fine",I shrug turning my body her way,
"just figured you were going through dick withdrawals with Oliver Twist being gone and all that jazz",I smile to her.

"Hell no, screw him",She laughs shaking her head,

We sat in silence for a minute before she interrupted it.
"Do you like me?",She asked leaning forward,
"Um...In what way?",I ask narrowing my eyes not wanting to say the wrong thing,
"In your gay, lesbian relationship type way",She said using hand gestures that made her look insane,
"It's totally cool if you don't cause I get it an-",She stops talking when I break out into fits of laughter completely confusing her.

"Oh god, you need to relax",I say still laughing,
"Of course I like you, your funny , talented and nice when you want to be, talented and not to mention extremely hot",I list and look over to see her smiling,

"And I know you like me cause, come on, everyone likes abit of Cas",I boast myself making her roll my eyes,
"Nobody likes cocky people",Emaline Warned,
"Except you,Kate and Tyler apparently",I list out and her face drops,
"What?",She asks confused,
"Tyler thought I was in love with him and Kate loves me",I explain leaning back on the wall,
"Shit",Emaline sighed,
"Yeah, you think you have it bad",I scratch the back of my neck.

"So do you like them too?", Emaline asked looking everywhere but at me,
"No",I shake my head,
"Have you told them that?",She looks up at me making me feel a lump in my throat at the fact I had to tell Kate,
"Tyler knows",Was all I answered with making her sigh out.

"I've gotta tell Kate",I say standing up,
"I'll see you",Emaline says as I walk away,
"Not If I see you first",I say before turning the corner to find Kate.

Eventually after about ten minutes of searching I found her in the girls bathrooms,
"Hey",I say walking over to the sink and sitting on it,
"Hey",She says playing with her keychain,
"I just came to talk to you, about what you said",I start already feeling like I'm about to vomit,
"Okay",She nods,
"Look Kate, your one of my best friends and I've knows you half of my life",I say stopping to look st her,
I noticed her lip quiver as she bit down on it trying to make it unnoticeable but the way her eyes watered gave it was away.

"But",She nodded wiping a stray tear that had fallen,
"I don't like you that way",I say guiltily.
"Yeah, I got that",She said before trying to walk out of the bathroom but I blocked her with my arm,
"Wait I-",I began but she cut me off by my pushing me arm out of the way,
"It's good I'm fine",She said as she left.

I pull my hands up rubbing my face feeling the regret hit me all at once.
I just lost one of my best friends.

As I'm walking out of the bathroom I'm hit by and speedy McQuaid ramming into me sending me flying.
"Jesus Christ",I groan looking up at him,
"No time to help you",Was all he said before running,
I roll my eyes and walk to where he came from hoping to find Luke or Tyler.
I turned the corner to the library to see Tyler sitting alone looking as sad as me.

"Hello my friend",I sit beside him,
"It's doing homework",He said blankly not looking up making me feel worse than before,
"Need help?",I offer leaving over to see what he was doing,
"Nope",He sighs staring at the page,
"Well what're you doing tonight? I'm free",I say hoping he'd take up the offer much fathering to be with a friend than at home alone.

"I taped mystery science", He shrugged,
"Cool, can I watch?",I ask making him stop and look up at me.
At first I thousand He was going to lash out from the Look he was giving me but it was quickly replaced with a wide smile.
"Really?",He asks keeping the smile on his face,
"Yeah, I need a friend right now",I sigh looking over at him,
"Great, same",He laughs picking up his homework and placing it in had bag,
"Come around at 8 I have popcorn you bring chocolate",He says before skipping out.

I showed up at Tyler's house at exactly 8 with food thank god I've been dying to just relax for hours .
He opens the door being his original happy self making me laugh.
"Come in welcome to my humble abode",He says as I walk in and sit on the couch.
"I brought a shit ton of food so let's watch this science thing",I say pouring the bad onto the table onfront of us,
He gets the popcorn and presses play.

Half the time I didn't know what was going on but it beat sitting home by a mile.
When it finished we had started to talk about random things considering the show and food.
"I'm losing all my friends to girls",He says out of nowhere ,
"Can't help you with that",I shake my head,
"I'm having as much trouble as you right now",

"I haven't talked to Luke in like a week",Tyler sighed,
"Kate Hates me",I stare down at the TV,
"Oliver left",he took a handful on M&Ms and piled them in his mouth,
"It's...11:56 my moms gonna fricken kill me",I jump up grabbing my jacket,
"I'll see you at the movie premiere ok?",I say pulling it on,
"Ok",He nods at me before I run out of the house
