Frog (Requested)- Edwin

Today was the big frog dissection and you completely loathed it. Thinking about it made you lightheaded, but it was big part of your grade so you had to suck it up

"Ok class today we are doing the beloved frog dissection" The whole class groaned in disgust. Me personally, I hated the idea of even touching a frog , so dissecting one was definitely not on my list, but I needed a grade for this.

"You know the drill, get your gloves in the front, your coats in the closet, and pair up" Mr. Taylors shouted. I rolled my eyes and got my gloves and jacket. The only thing left to do was find a partner that I didn't absolutely hate.

I look around and see Edwin behind me. I didn't know him to well but he was cute. His smile was adorable, his hair was perfect, and his body was just- "So are you gonna stare all day or are we gonna partner up?" He smiles at me

"Sure" You laugh nervously "Ok class, Robert here is going to be handing out the frogs" Mr.Taylors smiles "Each groups gets one"

Your stomach began to ache and The smell of the bucket that contained the frogs didn't help either. "Leah are you ok?" Edwin asks "You look kinda sick"

"I'm fine" you say with a forced smile "are you sure ?" he asks again as his eyebrow raises

"Yup"

Robert began handing out the frogs one by one. Once he got to you and threw the frog on the trey, you gagged at the sight of it

"I think you should sit this one out" Edwin frowns "You should go to the nurse"

"No Edwin *gag* I'm fine"

You give him a weak smile but of course he saw right through it

"Read the directions on the paper and get to work, Chop Chop" Mr. Taylor's says clapping his hands twice

"First step" You read out "Disssct the frog down the middle of its chest"

"Leah are you sure-"

"Edwin I'm fine" You take the knife and hold it over the frog. Your hands began to shake and your lip began to tremble

"Leah?" Edwin says "Leah?" He repeats

Your vision became fuzzy and then Black

"Leah?" You heard a voice call to you "Leah?"
You open your eyes slowly, only to reveal Edwin staring worryingly above you

"Holy shit, you're up" He smiles
You sit up and observe your surroundings. You were in a hospital room full of flowers and gifts
"Who are all these from?"

"Most of these are from me, but your family came by and dropped off a couple things " Edwin smiled. He walks toward the corner of the room and picks up a stuffed animal. He walks back to the side of your hospital bed and hands it to you

"She brought this, she said it's your favorite Teddy Bear from home" Edwin chuckles as you groan from embarrassment " I believe she said you named her Honey" Edwin chuckles again

"This is so embarrassing" you mutter facepalming yourself "What? The fact that you Named her or the fact that you still sleep with her?" Edwin laughs

"Shut up" You giggle

After your checked out of the hospital Edwin offers you a ride home. You give him your address and he begins driving. " I never got to say thank you for all these gifts"

"You don't have to" Edwin smiles "You really scared the shit outta me today" Edwin says laughing a bit "Yea?" You questioned

"Yup"

"Leah do you have any idea how adorable you are?" Edwin grins at you. You giggled in response, but on the inside you were literally screaming your fucking heart out.

"You're not to bad yourself" You say with a smile. He laughs and bites his bottom lip "oh is that so?" he smirks

"Mhmmm"

"Well then you wouldn't mind me asking you out to dinner would you?" Edwin asks. His cheeks turned a bright pink as he looked at you

"I wouldn't mind at all" You smile

"FUCK YES" Edwin celebrates. You both begin to laugh and admire each other. Edwin was truly a beauty, but you wondered if he was like all those other boys that only wanted one thing. You quickly trashed that thought, you wanted to think that just for once someone liked you for you, and Edwin definitely SEEMED like the type

You snap out of thought and realize that your parked in front of your house

"Well I guess this is your stop" Edwin says with a fake smile. He didn't want you to leave. He enjoyed your company more then anyone else's. It scared him a little, he tended to fall in love easily and get his heart broken. He couldn't help but think if you were the one for him

"Thank you so much for the ride, but do you mind helping me put all this stuff in my room?"

"Please Tell me thats the last of it" Edwin whines falling back onto your bed . You let out a small laugh and sit next to him "Yes that's it"

"Thank god" He says putting his hand to his chest "I've never seen so many teddy bears in my life" He says putting his hand on his forehead "You bought them" You giggle

Edwin sits up and rests his hand on yours. He stares at you for a while and then looks away "What?" You smile "nothing"

"It's obviously something" You say scooting closer to him. His heart started to race a little more and his face turned a bright pink again. He observes you, taking in your every feature "Fuck it.." He whispers to himself

Edwin puts his hand on your cheek before leaning in and kissing you softly. You wrap your legs around his torso not breaking the kiss. He stands up and places you back on the bed so he's on top of you.

You pull your lips apart slowly and gaze in to each other's eyes. You both let out a light chuckle as Edwin puts your hair behind your ear. He pecks your lips again and smiles

"Leah are you feeling b-" your sister says busting through the door. You and Edwin quickly rip from each others grasps and simply truly to pretend as if nothing was happening "OH SHIT" Your sister screams "I'm so sorry, I'll just-" she says pointing towards the door

She leaves and closes the door. You could hear her laughing from the other side of it, she definitely was gonna snitch on you "I guess I should go" Edwin says with a light laugh

"Yea" You smile . You both stand up and peck each other's lips once more "Pick you up in the morning tomorrow?" Edwin says biting his bottom lip

"Yup" you smirk
