"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."

-Mother Teresa

"Midoriya? Are you even listening to me?"

"Eh? Ah, yes! I mean... no." Izuku's face flushed slightly at his own stammering. "I'm just, nervous. This is going to be a big change."

Todoroki hummed in response, eyes focused on the road ahead as he drove the two of them to Midoriya's college. The car ride had been relatively quiet, between Midoriya sleeping for the first two hours and Todoroki's hatred of the radio. (Everytime a song came on that Todoroki liked, Midoriya would just giggle at him the entire time.)

Midoriya yawned, stretching his arms out slightly in front of him, before turning to Todoroki. "Are we almost there?"

"You sound like a child." Todoroki responded, removing his eyes from the road for a second to glance over at Midoriya. "But, yes." Midoriya responded with one of his award winning smiles, letting the car ride fall back into silence.

As Todoroki pulled the car into the nearest parking spot, Midoriya practically bounced in his seat with excitement. "I'll run in and get Kacchan so he can help us with the boxes!" Midoriya practically squealed as he ran off, leaving no room for complaint from Todoroki, which he most certainly had.

Midoriya flew in the doors and up the stairs to the second floor. The dorm was buzzing with people moving in and parents saying last minute goodbyes. He was forced to a stop by a boy standing in front of him, yelling as he waved a hand around frantically at him. "Don't run in the hallways or up the stairs! You could get seriously hurt or hurt someone else around you!"

"S-Sorry!" Midoriya gave a quick bow before speed walking the rest of the way to his and Kacchan's room. He had been excited when the letter they sent to apply for dorm partners came back approved, but it paled in comparison to his excitement now. Kacchan had been his best friend since they were in kindergarten, they had always stuck together through thick and thin. Even if Bakugou claimed otherwise. And now Midoriya got to spend his college years with him as well.

He knocked on the door twice as a warning before letting himself in with his key. Bakugou turned towards the opening door, only sneering slightly. "About time you showed up." Bakugou took a quick look behind Midoriya. "Where's your half-and-half boyfriend?"

"He's at the car, I was actually hoping you'd help us carry my stuff up, Kacchan." Midoriya fiddled with his thumbs as he asked, looking down slightly. Kacchan was his friend, but that didn't mean he wouldn't be rude at times. However, Bakugou only grumbled slightly as he walked towards him, leaving behind his own unpacking.

"Whatever, let's go. I bet I can carry up twice as much stuff as that loser anyway." Bakugou scoffed, already walking out the door past Midoriya, who gave him a smile before falling in step behind him. Bakugou walked quickly out the dorm and to the car, Midoriya struggling to match his pace. He didn't want to have to run again and face the wrath of the kid from before.

The two exited the building, nearly running into Todoroki, who had Midoriya's backpack slung across one shoulder and two boxes stacked up in his hands, completely blocking his view. Bakugou scoffed at the sight before taking the top box from Todoroki. "You're ganna drop his stuff, idiot."

Todoroki glared coldly back at him. "I'm not as incapable as some people here. I had everything under control."

"I-I'll get my luggage from the car!" Midoriya quickly ran away from the bickering two.

Bakugou turned on his heels, walking back the way he'd came. "Whatever, you're still an asshole."

Todoroki rolled his eyes, following Bakugou up the steps. "Sure, I'm the asshole."
