I walked up to Scarlet in front of the fan and put my arm around her waist. "I would total pick you over Hera and Athena." I wispered into her ear, she laughed.
"Even though Julia plays Hera." She wispered into my ear. Julia was the pretty, poupular cheerleader type. I did have a crush on her in like the 4th grade. Im sure Anna told her. They only talk about boys when im not around. Like one time I was talking with one of my friends and Scarlet was walking ahead of us and Anna ran up to her and yelled the "He said yes!!" and they got all excited and then Scarlet saw I was behind them and it got really akward. Im glad they dont i think it would be really weird if they talked about one of my friends and called him hot or something.
"Trust me I will always pick you as the most beautiful of the goddessess."
"Really becuase I heard that you had a thing for Julia" she giggled, she knew how i would react.
"I WAS 9!!!!" I said very loud making the whole room cast an eye in our direction. Julia smirked
"Remember a dress rehearsle till 6 p.m. tomarrow. Opening night is in 3 weeks" Mrs. Rem cut in before anybody said anything. I had just realized Mrs. Rem was at Scarlets knees, pinning fabric, clearly hearing everything I had said.
"Come on" Scarlet said grabbing my hand and pulling me torawds the door. At the last moment I turned and saw Anna talking to one of her sewwing soldiors, how also was in her study group, and pointing at us. Her friend was giggling and when she saw me lookng at her Anna started talking about like fabric. I smiled and started running with Scarlet towards the bathrooms to change. Our hands locked thogether. We skipped and smilled, Scarlet is such a free spirt. All the other actors had already changed and went staight home and Anna's small army got to leave right away for study group so it was just me in Scarlet in the whole school. I was going over to her house afterwards becuase my house is to far to walk to and the ground is to icey to bike so i stay at her house for a hour or two. Her mom is a nurse and she isnt home till like midnight. We had no where to be basicly.
She let go of my hand and ran in front of me and turned around and said "catch me" breathlessly. We where almost to the bathrooms when I grabbed her around the waist and picked her up. She laughed and kicked her feet. I some how got her into bride style and she wraped her arms around my neck and smiled. I almost melted right there. I leaned her against a wall, her facing me. I was taller than her so i looked down and she looked up, we were so close. You couldnt slip a peice of paper inbetween us.
"Kiss me" she said. I probably would had said something if i didnt want to so bad. I wrapped my arms tight around her waist lifted her and did it. Slowly our lips locked, and while it filled everything I wished for, I felt a tightning feeling in my stomach and pulled away. I could only look at Scarlet for a second, her eyebrows knitted in confusion, eyes still closed. I looked to the side.
Gently Scarlet lifted her hand from my sholders and thenlightly moved my head to meet my face. As if she knew what I was thinking and said gently "Its okay" and pulled me closer. My sholders stiffned and she lightly touched them reliving all pain. After a beautiful pass of time together she pulled back and said " lets get changed and go back to my house".
"What are we goona do?"
"What ever we want" she said and went into the ladies room the door catching on her skirt
In case you dont know much about mythology i will explain the beggining. Remember that John play trojan. When the Trojan prince Paris was asked to judge which of three Olympian goddesses was the most beautiful, he chose Aphrodite over Hera and Athena. The latter two had hoped to bribe him with power and victory in battle, but Aphrodite offered the love of the most beautiful woman in the world.
