  it's been 2 weeks since john and i started talking. i've never gotten such a strong friendship in such a short time. right now we were playing fortnite.

"because it makes me look like i'm good." we both laughed. my phone started to buzz. i didn't look at it. it then did it two more times. i couldn't check it because the storm was right behind me.

"milo runs as the storm is hot on her tracks.... will she make it??? will she survive with only 4 people left???" john says.

"hey milo." hannah popped her head into my room. i was just laying in my bed on my phone so she wasn't distracting me from anything. "do you wanna go out with us tonight?"

"where are you going?" i sat up.

"probably this really nice Italian restaurant then downtown." she said.

"has she answered?" i heard from down the stairs.
