The Alpha's Mate

Chapter 12

"I'm going to be an uncle!" Max cheered next to me.

They had to make Alex sit in the waiting room because he was kinda freaking out, because he was imagining the worst.

"I'm going to be a grandma!" mom hugged me.

I stared at the door, a bunch of different emotions going through me at once. "I'm going to be a mom, and Alex is going to be a dad." I smile wildly.

I felt a sharp pang in my heart, but I ignored it.

"Let's go tell Alex!" I smiled running out of the room.

I stopped once I got to the waiting room. My heart shattering all together at the sight I saw. Alex was kissing a red headed girl, just like in my nightmare awhile back but instead we're in a hospital.

"Alex!" I screeched.

He looked over to me with a look of regret written all over his face. "Dawn, I can explain. It's not what it looks like. I don't even know her."

"So the past few months haven't meant anything to you baby?" she closed the space between them.

I drew a sharp intake of breath, as tears streamed down my face.

"Did you tell him yet?" Max and mom say finally caught up with me.

Max looked down at my face as I tried not to hyperventilate. "What's wrong angel?" He asked. I fell to the ground holding my stomach as a sob escaped my mouth.

Mom rushed over to me and held me close, trying to calm me down.

"What the hell did you do?" Max roared at Alex as he lunges at him.

I started to hyperventilate as I felt my world shatter and everything around me seemed to be going in slow motion. "He. Cheated. Few. Months. She. Told. I. Just. Saw." I managed to get out as a nurse came to help me.

I heard Max's fist collide with Alex's jaw. And each time it would cause me even more pain. "Max! Please!" I choked out.

Realizing what was happening to me he hesitantly got off Alex and walked over to me.

I felt crowded. I had to get away. I pushed past mom, Max, and the nurse as I ran not knowing were I was going.

"I can make this pain go away. Just say the words." the same voice from the nightmare spoke.

I can't take it. This pain is too much to bare, it feels as if I'm dying a slow very painful death right now.

Without thinking much longer I stopped in the middle of the empty hospital cafeteria.

"I'm yours." I choke out as I felt sharp pains shoot throughout my entire body.

Footsteps ran towards me as I collapsed to the cold, hard tiled floor and screamed out in pain. After about I minute the pain stopped and I passed out.

Alex's P.O.V.

Her scream was earsplitting as she fell to the ground, tears still streaming down her face. After about a minute she stopped and passed out.

Max, Ms. Night, a few nurses, and I all ran over to her. Nurses shouted as they tried to find her pulse. Max burst into tears as he yelled along with them. Her mom fell to her knees and started rocking back and forth as she cried. I backed away, trying to catch my breath while tears slid down my face.

Another nurse ran in with a bed on wheels, I can't think of it's name right now. They put her onto it and we all ran into the emergency room.

"What happened?" A doctor with auburn hair and blue eyes asked.

The short, blonde nurse spoke. "Dawn Night, 17 year old female, two months pregnant. Screamed in pain than passed out in the cafeteria."

"Wait, what? She's pregnant?" I asked, breathing harder.

"Two months along. Who are you to this young lady?" the nurse asked asked.

"I'm her boyfriend."

"Okay sir, I need you to wait outside the room while we examine her." she said kindly.

I walked out the door and slid my back down the wall. "Please be okay Dawn." I sobbed aloud.
