Project Animatronics: Chapter 1(Sample)

In the restaurant - Allan Oakley

As soon as I heard that there was a murder, I was surprised. This town hasn't had a murder in years. Tonight, I'm entering the restaurant. How bad can it be? My friend will guide me and tell me where to go. I need to solve this before anyone else dies. It's 10:00pm and I unlock the restaurant door with a key that I took from my bosses desk. The door opens and the smell of a rotten corpse comes towards me. I was gonna be sick but I was able to hold it in. I get a call from my friend Greg. "Hey Allan!", He shouts from the phone. "When you enter, go left and follow the red line that I put on your map on your phone", He explained. I tiptoed to the left side of the room and followed the red line on my map and came across an office. An office that a night guard would use. I hear the doors slam and footsteps as loud as thunder. I was too scared to get out of the office room. "Now you should be in the first office right?", Greg questioned. "I mean, it looks like an office", I said. "Good! Right beside you there is a tablet that gives you access to the security cameras. This will help you look for items that will help you on your case!", Greg explained. I looked on the cameras and saw three animatronics. The Bird character was looking straight at me like she wanted to kill me. I saw anger in her eyes. "OK! All you need to do is to look around and if you don't see anything till 6:00am, then leave! See you tomorrow!", He said before hanging up. It's 12:00am and still found nothing I just saw the animatronics looking at me. I put the tablet down and looked at my phone.

It was 1:00am and still nothing. I looked on the cameras and one of the animatronics were gone. "Wait, what!?", I questioned myself. I refreshed the camera system and it was still gone. It was the white bunny. I looked on another camera and saw him. He was slowly moving closer and closer. He was at my window. I started texting Greg about it but he was already asleep. I saw a button next to the door way. I pressed it and a door came out of no where. It was a metal door that no one can go throw. It was 5:00am and he was still there. He was starring at me. I didn't look away nor closed my eyes. I was scared that he'll do something to me. I had no idea what he was doing here. It finally hit 6:00am and he ran away. I opened the door and looked out just in case there was anymore animatronics beside the door.

I switched on my phone flashlight and slowly made my way back. I was curious that what if I opened that door, what would the animatronic do? He was just starring at me. I didn't know what to do. I saw the exit and headed towards it. I tried to open it with the key but it didn't work. It was jammed. " A new friend", A strange voice said. I slowly turned around and saw the white bunny again. Then he punched me and my vision went blurry. I was.... Knocked out.
