"I'll Be Waiting"
Departed to our sep'rate ways
Without saying another word.
Guess the mood is off crispy May
When all the feelings have transfered.
Didn't give me a single chance
To even explain my reasons,
So I judged his incompetence
Like it was an act of treason.
He left me standing all alone
While walking away and hating.
As I dwell on this deep forlorn,
By the doorsteps, I'll be waiting.
Time had revolved a thousand times
B'fore the roses became alive.
Waves of the ocean shifted tides
Once the signs of hopelessness died.
Sounds coming from outside were heard,
And my colors quickly came back.
Ran downstairs to see what was there
To only be brought back to black.
He was there; I'm so sure of it.
My eyes would not dare to deceive.
While I'm hoping for every bit,
By the windows, I'll be waiting.
I've seen all the things that's around
Except seeing a man since May.
Making sure on my seat I'm bound
As I wait for a vis't he'll pay.
Beyond the rocky hills I see
Dawn covering her saffron robe.
In exchange, Dusk comes lingering
As I wonder about his globe.
Each moment that passed, I've thought
If until now he's still caring.
Favor and love may not be wrought,
But till the end, I'll be waiting.
