JULIA
The breeze that awoke Julia causes her to be alarmed. After staking herself in Avery's living room, she expected to wake up in the same place. Only, this isn't the same place, this is an open meadow full of sun flowers. An aroma of sweetness overwhelms her senses, and the area surrounding her causes her to be at ease. The trees bloom with such an intense green, it almost blinds her eyes. The sound of birds chirping and animals humming fill her ears in a sense she's never heard of before. The noises seem as if they're far away, muffled in a sense. A smile creeps across her face as she walks through the meadow, realizing that she's in transition.
"Julia?" A voice comes from behind her. With a jolt, she spins around to face someone whom she would expect least of all to see, Elijah.
"Elijah?" She says, walking towards him. "What are you doing here?" With a smile on his lips that she's only seen once, he walks towards her.
"I came to see you. To make sure you're safe."
"Safe? From what? I'm in transition, Elijah." He looks down at the flowers that lay at his feet and smirk. The color yellow had always been a color he loved, it was a color of hope to him.
"You are in a dream like state right now." He says, stepping closer. "I'm not truly here, Julia." Causing Julia to freeze up in a weird type of shock, Elijah places his fingers on her cheek, and swiftly move her hair to behind her ear. She closes her eyes and smiles at his touch. If this is only a dream, why not say the things she wishes and do the things she want? Hesitantly, she leans forward until Elijah's lips softly rub against hers. The gentleness but also toughness of his lips draw her in more, until she lays a kiss on his lips. In the dream, she feels his one arm wrap around her body and pull her in while the hand on his other arm grips the side of her face, roughly. As he brings his lips down to her neck, she feels her body come alive. She feel as though she's a candle that hasn't been lit in centuries at his touch.
"Julia, wake up." She hears a voice call out to her. Opening her eyes from having them closed while Elijah kissed her, she looks around.
"Julia, you need to wake up." She hears it again. She tries to push back Elijah who doesn't let his grip on her go.
"Love," The voice becomes louder and more intense, "Wake up!" Jolting up straightforward in a bed, her breathing becomes heavy. Looking around herself, she sees Avery, Klaus, and Marcel.
"What-" she tries to speak, but her words get caught in her throat as her stomach grumbles and churns in a way she's never felt before. Then, she feels it. A hunger unlike any other before, a hunger that consumes her whole body.
"You drank a vile of my blood," Klaus begins to say, hoping that her memory comes back to her before he continues the sentence. "And...you drove a stake through your heart." Suddenly, she remembers. Looking over to Klaus eyes, her heart drops. The amount of sadness that plagues his eyes is unlike any she's ever seen before. As he looks into her eyes, a tear befalls his face as he imagines what would have happened if she had died instead, and if he never got to see her beautiful eyes ever again.
