The next day came. I already knew I wasn't going to be in a good mood today.
Not only did I sleep on an air mattress that deflated over night😭, I had school the next day.
So did Jake but tomorrow I was going to be starting high school and they had just ended Summer Break.
I don't know anyone. I was going to be starting as a senior! Wow how lucky am I? 😒
At least it would be my last year.At least my brother got to start fresh.
I got off the flat mattress and looked around. "Mom!" I called out for her in the empty house noticing that she had already gotten up. She didn't hear me apparently.
I got up and jogged upstairs. To see she had earbuds in setting up the bathroom. "Hey Tiffany. I'm just trying to get us settled in. Can you please bring me the box with the shower curtains, towels, etc."
I did as she said. I went downstairs and brought the box back upstairs.
I just stood there watching her and that was getting boring after 3 minutes so I just went downstairs and grabbed my boxes for my room.
*2 hours later* It was now 4:12 in the afternoon. I had already finished my room. I had a flat screen tv, some paintings, an aquarium, a queen sized bed, and my dresser.
It still felt empty but I'm sure I'll add an desk and all that shit later. I left the room and went downstairs.
"I'm going outside!" I yelled out to my mom. I got no reply but she's the type to nod her head knowing I can't see her.
I walked in the backyard and saw a light-skin boy in the next door yard. I just looked at him. He had short dreds with one side black and one side blonde.

I felt embarrassed but I just let it go. And plus I was scared to get in a relationship after what happened with Markus.
