"Smartass."

"Watch it."

Her father climbed out of the car to greet the other driver and Victoria looked to the back of the van. She nudged the asleep Scott with her hand, muttering for him to wake up, before climbing out of the car.

"Cap."

Steve shook her father's hand steadily in thanks. "You know I wouldn't have called If I had any other choice."

"Hey man, you're doing me a favour. Besides, I owe a debt."

Steve looked at Victoria, sending a nod her way, as she skipped over to Bucky. She looked in the back of the car nosily, not finding what her eyes searched for.

"Any luck on getting my bow back?"

"In the trunk."

Victoria's eyes lit up and she tripped over herself trying to get to the back of the car. She lifted the top up and was greeted with the trio's weapons and suits. She picked up her bow and hugged it to her body.

"Oh, I have missed you so."

Bucky chuckled, but silenced when Victoria sent a harsh glare his way. She strapped her bow to her body and held her suit in her hands. Steve smiled at the girl before turning his attention to Wanda, who stood beside Clint.

"Thanks for having my back."

"It was time to get off my ass."

"How about our other recruit?"

Clint smiled and moved to the van's door. "He's rarin' to go. Had to put a little coffee in him, but," he opened it and Scott jumped awake. "He should be good."

"I literally just woke you up. How did you fall asleep, again?"

"What timezone is this?"

"Come on. Come on."

Clint helped him out and once he fully came to his senses, Scott noticed Steve. He stared dumbfounded and gaping like a fish at the soldier – who was visibly uncomfortable for a moment before composing himself.

"Captain America."

They engaged in a handshake while Scott still gaped at Steve. Victoria giggled, her dad visibly trying to conceal his own laughter.

"Mr. Lang."

"It's an honour. I'm shaking your hand too long." He let go and tried to compose himself. "Wow! This is awesome! Captain America." He looked at Wanda, pointing to her. "I know you, too. You're great!" He turned back to Steve and felt his shoulders. "Jeez—ah, look, I wanna say... I know you know a lot of super people, so... Thinks for thanking of me."

Scott caught sight of Sam, who stared bitterly with his arms crossed. "Hey, man!"

"What's up, Tic Tac?"

"Uh, good to see you. Look, what happened last time when I—"

"—It was a great audition, but it'll—it'll never happen again."

Scott nodded before looking back to Steve. "They tell you what we're up against?"

"Something about some... psycho-assassins?"

"We're outside the law on this one. So, if you come with us, you're a wanted man."

"Yeah, well, what else is new?"

There was a slight awkward silence, before Bucky caught their attention. "We should get moving."

"We got a chopper lined up—"

Her father was cut off as the airport's intercom sounded through the parking lot. She couldn't understand a single word, as they weren't in English. She turned to Bucky, her new Vision-translator, and he frowned.

"They're evacuating the airport."

"But there's, like, no one here?"

"Stark."

"Stark?"

Steve looked at the team, before letting out two words that made Victoria uneasy.

"Suit up."
