OMG. I can't believe na tapos ko na 'to. Been writing half of my life and who would've thought na fic pa ni Ricci Rivero ang matatapos ko?! Grabe, it's been a whirlwind of emotions, di pa rin ako makapaniwala. Pero wala e, andito na eh. GRABE GRABE nga talaga sabi ni Shantidope hahaha.
TBH, di ko talaga akalain 'to. I was just having one boring Wednesday night tapos BAM! Write. Gusto ko sana i-kwento kung anong inspiration ko behind this story, bakit GET YOU? and if di nyo napansin, every chapter is yung every line din ng song... It has a deeper meaning behind it bakit sa kinadami dami ng songs ni Daniel, yan pa talaga. Well, let's just say na it has something to do with my personal encounter sa taong bida dito... hahaha.
Also, I apologize if feeling nyo lagi ko kayo binibitin. I guess it's just my style?! And maraming nagtatanong bakit 30+ chapters lang 'to. Well, not a fan kasi of forcing a story for the sake of humaba lang. After a few first chapters, I already made a timeline kung anong ganap every chapter to make the story a little more plot driven. Also, if you've noticed, walang pasabog na (eg: kidnap, murder, connivance, pregnancy, umalis ng bansa, after a few years.) cause I already wanted this to be REALISTIC and plain. Gusto ko rin ipakita kung ano and paano talaga nabubuhay ang mga kids ngayon that's why I keep on putting places kung saan talaga tumatambay kids ngayon. Also, if pansin nyo, sobrang open-ended nya. I suddenly had the urge to make a BOOK 2 of this story kasi. Though not completely sold if itutuloy ko nga 'to (but I already have ideas about it) but what I'm sure about is:
I HAVE A NEW STORY!
And it's called...
Boys Don't Cry!
To give you a brief summary or tip: basta it has something to do with a TIME CAPSULE and a BET. pustahan ganon. Sana you guys would read and appreciate it, gaya ng pag support nyo dito since I already have full plans for it!
In regards to the last part of the story, yes, DLSU ang nag-champion. And yes, sinadya ko talagang i-dejavu ang lahat. If you're confused as to what I'm saying, balikan nyo po ang 1st chapter. And if napansin nyo, iniwan ko talagang open-ended ang mga bagay bagay like,
· Bakit di pa rin masyado bati si Steph and Kib?
· Ano, forever friendzoned na ba talaga si Drei?
· Bakit di pa umuuwi ang Mom ni Marquis?
· Bakit di pa pumupunta ng Isabela si Marquis?
· Hindi na ba gaganti si Bianca?
· Anyare na kay Mico?
· Hindi ba magsasawa pumarty sina Ricci and Marquis?
And of course,
· LOWKEY ENGAGED NA SILA?
These are just some of the questions that I would HOPEFULLY tackle on the book 2. But I've already decided na tatapusin ko muna ang Boys Don't Cry if ever man umpisahan ko ulit ang Get You. So please guys... who knows, if I get really great feedback from here... baka wala pang ilang months, di na ako makapagtiis at simulan ko na. WHO KNOWS, diba?!
