Chapter 4

We start walking to Starbucks.

"Hey Mia" Cameron says as he runs up to me.

"Hey" I say, looking down.

"So um... Why are you so upset" he asks with a surprisingly concerned look on his face.

"Oh.. Um, it's uh really nothing that you have to uhm worry a-about" I say really shyly.

"Then why are you so shaken." he says.

"Well... it's just that... well... um... friend problems" I say.

"Just spit it out" he says.

"My best friend texted me that she hates me" I say looking him dead in the eye.

He looks shocked.

"Is that why you're so sad?" Aaron asked.

Wow, said that louder than I hoped for.

"Yeah, but can we just like not talk about that." I say.

They all agree just as we arrive at Starbucks.

Immediately, we are mobbed by fans.

Well, mostly the guys.

"Hi! Mia!! Ohmygosh I'm such a huge fan oh my goodness!!" A girl comes up to me and practically screams.

"Hey!" I say back.

"Can you sign this Tshirt?" she asks pointing to her shirt, which happens to be my merch.

"Yeah!" I say and sign it.

"Can we take a picture too? I have a youtubers fanpage and my followers and internet friends will be so jealous" she asks.

I remember having fanpages and internet friends, well most of my friends are internet friends, but it's different when you don't get to meet them.

I take a picture with her.

"What's your instagram?" I ask.

She looks up at me with a lot of excitement.

"WHAT? oh um it's haha um @caniffcaylen" (That's my actual Instagram)

I pull out my phone and follow her. I love making people happy.

I also follow her on twitter.

"Wow, I got to meet Taylor, Aaron, Jack J, Cameron, you, Lia, AND JC in one day!" she says.

"wait, Lia is here?" I ask.

"yeah she was here a few minutes before you guys showed up" she tells me.

"crap" I say and walk away.

Then I finally get to order my plain black coffee with cinnamon extract.

I can't get the thought of Lia being in town out of my head.

Then I get a text.

Lia👹: JC is making me go to magcon all week. just letting you know so you don't think in going to try to be friends again.

"What did she do?" I hear someone say, and I look up to see Taylor.

"What?" I ask.

"I saw you look at your phone, then get really sad. What did Lia do." Taylor demands.

"She is gonna be at magcon all week" I say.

"If she does anything, let me know. I'll protect you." he says.

The way he said that makes my stomach twist into a million knots.

-back at hotel-

I'm sitting on my bed, when Taylor comes in the room.

"Hey" he says.

"Hi" I say back.

"You ready for today?" he asks me.

"I don't know Taylor... She was my best friend and now I can't even talk to her" I say with tears forming.

"hey hey hey" he says, coming over to me, "everything is going to be okay. You'll make it through this week".

"Thanks Taylor" I say and hug him.

After we let go, our eyes make contact, He stares at me, with a passionate look on his face, I don't know what he is trying to say.

Then he looks at my lips, and back up at me.

He leans in and I do the same.

Then we kiss.

His lips are so soft.

Then we take our lips apart.

"What just happened" I say.

"I don't know" he says back.

We walk out of the room really awkwardly to go to the limo.

We all head down stairs and I walk with mahogany.

"Hey, can I trust you?" I ask her.

"Heck yea! I deal with the guys' problems all day. You can trust me." she says.

"Me and Taylor kissed" I say.

"Really?!" she asks all excitedly.

"yeah but I'm afraid it won't work and it'll be awkward between us." I say.

"If it's mean't to be then it's mean't to be, and if not I guess I can force Carter to move in with Taylor so you will share a room with Aaron" she says.

"Don't worry, it won't end up that way" I say and we get in the limo.

I sit by Mahogany and Jack G.

Me and Taylor are making uncomfortable eye contact every few minutes.

I'm also in a very selfieish mood so I pull out my phone.

"Selfie" I say to mahogany and jack g and they both get in.

I post it on Instagram and caption it

"Magcon ready💋 w/ @mahoganylox @jackgilinsky"

Then we arrive. And I see her.
