Picking the Dress

Blaise's POV:

Hermoine was standing in the middle of her bedroom and she was spinning in the dress that had the Slytherin colors. I looked at Draco. He was gaping at Hermione and I wanted to say something but I knew his secret.

"You have a bit of drool there, Draco." I said and Hermoine laughed.

Hermoine stopped spinning and she almost fell had it not been for Draco catching her.

I stared at them.

"Ahem" I cleared my throat and Draco lifted Hermione. And he rubbed his hand on the back of his neck. Hermione was blushing and I chuckled at how they reacted to me seeing them.

Hermione recovered first and went to her nightstand and turned on her radio. Hermione jumped, and squealed at what song was on and turned the volume up like 20 notches. And starts singing along.

She spun around and fell onto her bed and looked at me and Draco, mind you, with a mischievous smile on her face. She looked to Draco.

She walked up to Draco and put her hand on his face and smirked. Turning to me  and winking.

She looked at Draco and smiled, again. She kissed him on the cheek causing him to go red.

She grabs Draco's Hands and put them to her chest.

She walked to me and smirked. She grabbed me and kissed me on my cheek.

Hermoine's POV:

When the song was over both Draco and Blaise had a look of awe on their faces and I bowed. Turning and asking for the thousandth time today...

"Which one? I need to know!" I walked to Draco and shook his shoulders.

"I said I liked that one, Hermoine." Draco was red in the face and I turned to Blaise. When he opened his mouth to say what I knew was going to be the same thing he said all day.

' I don't care! Both are good.' 

I giggle at the thought.

"And don't even think about saying what you said all day!" I said waving my finger in his face letting go of Draco. I walk over to him and give him the look that all of my friends know that I want a straight answer.

"I really like the one your wearing now" He gulped closing his eyes

"Same!" Draco said. I smile

"This is the one I was going to pick anyways!"

(I'm sorry! I just had to put that in there! All the girls in my family are like that and it really annoys the men/boys in my family! ❤💖😁💕)

I saw Draco look at Blaise and roll his eyes.

"Malfoy?"

"Hermione?"

"Don't you ever, ever, roll your eyes at me..." I say wipping around to see him startled at the fact that I knew what he did while my back was turned to them.

"All women have eyes in the back of their heads!"

Draco looked at Blaise and he shook his head making Draco sigh of relief. I laughed. i have been doing a lot of that lately.

"Draco, Could you help me with something?" I ask looking at Draco. He nods and looks confused at me. I beckon him to help me figure out which sash to wear to the ball.

"I like the one your wearing now." I smiled. I looked up at him and he smirked. I felt a swarm of butterflies in my stomach. Curse Draco and his smirk! I felt the urge to kiss him, then I remembered that we were friends and nothing more. How I wished we could be more. I looked down at my hands.

Draco turns and walks to Balise whispering something in his ear and Blaise nods before walking out.

 I turn and see Draco looking at me.

"Hermione... Can I ask you something?"

"Sure.... What is it?" I was hoping it wasn't anything bad... What if I did something wrong and he didn't want to be friends anymore?

"I was wondering... ifyouwantedtogototheballwithme?"

"What?"

"I was wondering..."He was saying his words really carefully. "If you wanted to go the the ball with me?" His voice was quite like he was a little kid asking if he can have the last cookie when he knows what the answer is going to be.

I flung myself at him hugging his neck.

"Is that a yes?" He says pulling me off him and setting me on the ground. I nod and he chuckles.

"I can't read minds. What?"

"Yes! I'll go with you! Is that better?" I say talking loud enough so that Blaise can hear.

"Much." He leans down and kisses my forehead.

"Are we going as friends? OR....."

"That part is entirely up to you, Hermoine." I smile. I was going to tease him, make him squirm.

"I think we should go as friends..." He looked crest fallen. "Then see where we end up after..." I smile when he gives me the smallest kiss. We often kissed each other. I told Draco it was what all friends did. He actually believed me!

Blaise comes barging in and grabs me and Draco in a hug.

"Finally! The prince takes his princess!"

Me and Draco laugh. I loved the way he laughed. The way his eyes closed and he would throw his head back. The way there where lines at the corners of his eyes and he looked happy.

All I wanted to do was kiss him. i loved the way he would smile, the way he walks, everything! I love him! but I didn't know how I was going to tell him...

I'm sorry it took me so long to update... I had alot on my plate with school starting soon. I had to go school shopping and It took FOR-EVER!!!
