Horizons City. The city I was born and raised in. Its a crime ridden city, just about every corner you turn down there is some jackass waiting to mug you. I hate it. I always hated this place, but I could never leave. My parents wanted to move away, but never could. We weren't a very wealthy family, couldn't afford to move to a better city. My family had issues, just like any other. My dad was an alcoholic, so he would often get drunk and harass my mother. He would beat me in his drunk rampages too, I never had the strength to fight back. It felt like the only one in my family that cared was my mother. I loved her so much, and she loved me back. It angered me to see that piece of shit who claimed to be my father treat her like dirt.

School wasn't much better either. Our school was one of those that had every grade in one building, Kindergarten through Senior year of High school. Every year it was the same kids in your class (If they passed the last grade that is), so it was the same bullies every year. I remember each of their names: Anthony Diaz, Jack Migard, and Justin Grether. These were the worst kids in school. Always picking on the weak to boost their ego, I was sick of it. I stood up to them in my Freshman year, They started antagonizing me less and less. That's when it hit me.

The Idea hit me. "If you stand up, your enemies back up." I thought to myself. Thats when I knew it was time, to take action at home. It took all I had to stand up to my father, but that's how I lost everything I had. When I fought back against my father, I didn't expect what came next. He grabbed his gun, Which I had no idea he even had one. He fired three shots, The next thing I knew I had been shot once in the shoulder. Those other two shots he fired, they hit my mother. She died instantly. I had grown past angry, I was furious. The police found my father a few hours after the shots had been fired, he was found dead.

I had left and was heading to who knows where. That day I vowed to rid the city of human trash just like my father, and I had a few people in mind who would be next...
