The next day, Danni and I go to school.

We stay in front of the cafeteria and I see a couple of guys staring at us.

They get up and walk over to us.

"Hey Danni," One of the guys say sitting next to her.

"Hi," Danni says scooting away from the guy. "What's up Steven?"

I didn't know she actually knew a Steven, laughing my ass off!

"My friends wanted to know how you knew LaMelo Ball. They said something about seeing you on his Instagram story." Steven says.

"I just bumped into him at the mall," Danni shrugs.

"But why would he post you on his Instagram story?"

Danni shrugs her shoulder again. "Ask him that, I don't know!"

The Steven boy smiles. "Okay, next time you "bump into him", you should tell him to go check me out on Instragram!"

"For sure," Danni forces a smile.

Once Steven is back with his friends, Danni looks at me.

"Not doing that," Danni rolls her eyes.

Danni's phone vibrates and she picks it up.

She smiles at her phone and then she looks at me.

"Look!" She squeals while turning the phone towards me.

I had fun chillin wit you, we gone have to do it again

"Oh, he texted you." I smile too. "Say 'Can't wait' with a wink emoji!"

Danni nods her head and begins typing on her phone.

The bell rings to go to class and Danni immediately walks away and rushed towards her first period class.

I walk to class and I sit down in my seat.

Since the late bell hasn't rung yet, I take out my phone.

I save Lonzo's contact name as Tree😍.

"Lani, give me your phone." My teacher Mrs.Richard says.

"But the bell hasn't even rang yet," I argue.

"The tardy bell has-"

The bell rings through the classroom.

"You were saying?" I asked looking my teacher up and down.

I hate this fucking class, this teacher hates me for no reason!

After school while Danni and I are waiting for Rain, I get a text from Lonzo.

I look over at Danni who is doing her math homework.

"Nerd," I say.

"Shut up, I've got better grades than you!" Danni says while doing her homework.

"I'd have better grades than you if I actually tried to get all A's!"

"Yeah, whatever!" Danni says doing her homework.
