"Never insult my brother again Bradly because I don't make idle threats" Beau said before letting Brad go and stepped back looking at the crowd and smiled, "And that's goes to anyone who dares call my brother names understood?" They all nodded in fear before scurrying away and Beau looked up and smiled

"Jake, Everly. I didn't see you guys arrive" he said walking over to the girl and guy who rolled their eyes and waited for Beau to reach us

"We just got here coz" the girl, Everly, said and I blinked. Did she just say coz as in cousin?

"Sorry you had to see that by the way," he said looking at me as he pointed over his shoulder but I shook my head "I don't normally get in peoples face like that but he said a word that irks me"

"Don't worry about it Beau." I said with understanding smile because I wouldn't have hair threatened the bastard if I had a sibling with down syndrome and they were called names. I would have beaten them to a bloody pulp if I had been in his shoes.

"So where are you going now?" He asked

"I was gonna go talk to the couch about joining the team" I said pointing over my shoulder and he nodded

"What team though?" Jake asked and furrowed my brows

"Football?" I replied though it was more of a question and he hummed

"Ahh. Football jockey huh?" Everly asked with a raised brow making me raise mine while Beau rolled his eyes

"Ignore her," Beau said and I nodded, "Did you use to play football at your old school?"

"He was captain of the football team" Connie replied for me and I nodded

"That's cool. I'm the captain of the soccer team. Any who, I was heading to talk to coach after getting my stuff but I can take you to see him if you'd like?" He offered and I nodded

"That'd be great thanks" I said and he smiled showing off those pearly white teeth of his and I could feel Drago moving inside my head wanting to come out and meet his mate and I could see Beau's eyes shifting color and he blinked to clear them and I did the same. Who knew that my mate would be the next alpha of the pack AND a soccer player?

What if HE rejects us instead Mr. Asshole? I questioned as I followed Beau down the hall leaving his cousins and my friends behind who had quickly become friends but I didn't mind.

"I know our species has a history of hating each other, and there must be a reason why the moon goddess mates us." I heard him say and I looked down at him seeing as he was a couple inches shorter than me and I nodded

"It's been decades since it happened and to be honest I don't understand why we still have this hatred towards one a other. Yes my grandfather killed one of your people but there was a reason behind it" he said and I nodded because he was right. The idiot had it coming anyway. He killed his ex lover's child and had the audacity of showing up again at his school when he was still a teen demanding to speak with him and that was when the guy's mate showed up. I even spoke up during one of meetings back in DC and it had gotten everyone talking . We were kicked out of my clan because of me but I honestly don't care. We're better off where we are now. Emmanuel had it coming when he did wha the did.

"He had it coming after what he did to your grandfather, Beau. He abused him and harmed him in ways no one should have ever been hurt. So I don't see anything wrong with your other grandfather did. He actually saved us from having to deal with Emmanuel anymore than we already had when he was still alive" I said and he looked up and smiled before looking back down at his fingers

"You know my grandparent wood have liked you" he said making me frown

"What do you mean?" I questioned and he sighed stopping in his tracks making me do the same and waited for him to continue, "Hey, sorry I didn't mean to pry if you don't want to tell me that's fine" I said as an after thought but he only shook his head

"My Papa actually since he had met both of my grandparents when he was younger said that they were the best people in the world and that they put their loved ones before anyone else and themselves. Mama said Grandpa Princeton was a great man and that had his Mama grandpa Jesse had lived after he was born then he would have been very close with him as well. Grandpa Jesse passed away when Mama was only a few months old and then Grandpa Prince passed away when Mama was around 18" he said and I bit my bottom lip as I watched him look down at his feet his shoulders sagging and I wanted to pull him into my arm but I didn't want to overstep my boundaries like I already did by asking him about his grandparents.

"That's why I have their names. Grandpa Jesse's middle was Beau while Grandpa Princeton's was Alexander. Guess it was a way for Mama to remember his parents and I like their names. It makes me feel closer to them in a way you know?" He said looking up at me and I nodded

"I hear ya. I have my grandpa and great father's names as well." I said and he smiled

"Sorry for tossing all of that on you in a go by the way" he apologized but I shook my head

"Don't worry about it Beau." I said and he smiled before he did the last thing I thought he'd ever do, he hugged me and I felt shocks run up and down my arms at the contact as my heart began racing in my chest but that all passed far too soon as Beau stepped back and smiled.

"Come on, don't want you missing your talk with Coach because of me" he said grabbing my hand and pulling me behind him and I swallowed the lump in my throat, "By the way I accept you as my mate if you accept me" I froze in my tracks making Beau stumble and almost fall for he ground but I caught him before his face connected with the cement and turned him around so our eyes locked and our lips were inches away from touching. I saw him lick his bottom lip and I followed the movement before looking back into his eyes

"Hi" he murmured

"Hi" I whispered back before connecting our lips in a searing kiss as fireworks exploding in the background

"Didn't your daddy tell you that you have to take a person out on a date first before you kiss them?" He asked with a raised brow when we pulled apart and I smirked

"He did but I don't really follow his advice" I replied with a shrug and he shook his head with a smile

"Come on we don't want to keep Coach waiting" he said as he pulled me along and damn for a guy his size he sure is strong but I wouldn't have it any other way. I have my mate and that's all that matters.

Moving to Quebec, Canada was the best decision my parents could have ever made. I'm starting to like this place just a tad bit more and I know that I'll end up liking it here a lot more once I get to know everyone specially my mate. Who knew that I'd be finding my mate on the first day of school? Guess life has a funny way of working things out when we least expect them.

an here's a new chapter guys sorry if it's not that good...I tried my best but any way what did think of the chapter? Should Beau have waited a bit longer to accept Derek? Where should Derek take Beau on a date? When should Derek and Beau become official? Should I wait until we're a bit further in the book or not? Any who don't forget to leave a vote/fan
