"with unspeakable lies, comes the truth. it's that i love you."

Lance was home when it happened, staying all alone in his room because he needed to take some time to himself. He cries of pain from the sudden boom of pain that caused him to cough his pretty little heart out. The sudden new feeling made him grow wearier and wearier of whatever had happened but at that time, he left it alone.
Suddenly, he rushes to the bathroom, the intense pain had made him want to throw his guts out. Coughing his heart out, he looked up at the bathroom mirror with a disgusted look that seemed to have been set on his face the same very moment he threw up.
What he saw after made it form into a terrified face, mixed with guilt. He knew to himself what it had meant. He knew what will happen after this, he knows the process, and most of all, he knew what he was leaving behind. He knew what he couldn't leave behind and now, it's out of his control.
Hanahaki disease, a commonly known disease of which has been classified as a rare disease, that is developed from unrequited love. Symptoms may be, coughing of blood and rose petals. The last stage of said disease is coughing out a fully bloomed rose. Stages start from white roses to red, the flower of love.
If not treated with surgery that removes all probability of loving another, one with such a disease could die from the intense bleeding and growth of flowers inside ones organs. if you have it, please do not risk having a love that can never be acquired with your own life, it is not worth it.
Lance stared at the website for a good thirty whole minutes, never looking at something else, processing all this information that he already was aware of and now, he's so painfully aware that this is something that he'll have to go through. and frankly, he was mortified of the outcome.
He knew he would have to leave everyone he loved, cherished, to cry his death. or they could leave his death all behind and never come back.
Even then, he would never look back because he loves him enough to know that it would be worth it.
Painfully, he wipes his mouth, walks back to his room, and stares at the ceiling for another hour.
Stage one has begun.
