Following the suspicious death of their mother, Anna Johnson returns home after being held in a mental hospital. Life changes for Anna as she soon finds out that her father is engaged to Heather, their mother's previous caretaker.
Something doesn't seem right about Heather, almost as if she were hiding something. What could it be? Anna and her sister are content to set out to explore Heather's past. They are confronted by terrorizing nightmares, ghostly visions and disturbing voices. Who is she and what does she want?
