Life. Life has many different meanings to it, which makes people see it in many different ways. Some people call it a truly beautiful part of nature, others think it's disgraceful, and should not exist. But, life is, and always will be very special, no matter how anyone sees it. It is a very important factor in existence after all.

Death on the other hand, is very opposite of life. People call death "confusing" and "terrifying." No one knows why death exists, or maybe why it happens so sudden and so often. The truth is, death itself is very peaceful. Only the something people call "The Grim Reaper" is what brings pain and misery to death.

Life and death do know everything about each other.

However,

In history, life and death have never fully encountered face to face. Death had killed many of life's creations, but never had the chance to know what life's identity was.
It remained a mystery, up until a man by the name of Min Yoongi, the current ruler of death, decided to wander into life's part of existence.

Yoongi knew that he would find some things about every life's creations beautiful, but what he didn't know is that this one life would become the one person Yoongi would fall deeply in love with.

—

Gazing down upon the polluted water, Yoongi dipped his feet in like normal, a daily routine. He got used to the feeling of swimming in trash and dirt, no matter how disgusting it was.

The dark haired male had began to notice how much more bored he grew of his own land, the land which he ruled over. He started making more sense of why it was called "The Deadlands" and why it was so eerily quiet. Oddly enough, even as the ruler of death, Yoongi found the silence creepy enough.

Only then did Yoongi see such a bright and beautiful sky bleeding into his own.

"Ah, the border I suppose," Yoongi mumbled to himself.

He had known about the border between The Deadlands and the other area where life settled. He had never gotten to visit it, however.

Maybe he could this time. There was nothing to really do anyways.

—
"Pretty cute."
Yoongi caught himself staring at the flowers across the border. Life really had some special creations.

He went ahead to touch one, only for it to wilt in his hands and slowly fade away.

Then again, he wasn't here for the flowers.

But he couldn't stop looking at how beautiful they were- in fact, he couldn't believe how gorgeous the entire place looked like.

He continued over the border until his eyes lay on a sign;

Purity Haven
'The Land Of Glory'

Flowers were decorated around it. Yoongi thought it was cute.

He then started to hear a humming noise. It sounded calming and peaceful. Something told Yoongi to not go so deep into whatever this place was, but he did so anyways. He did want to meet who was behind all of this astonishing "works of art."

The melody of the humming grew more softer whenever the dark haired male inched near it.

.

Once stepping into the light again, Yoongi saw a younger male carefully bunching flowers together in his hands.

So the humming, it was from him? Yoongi thought to himself. The male's voice was soothing, not to mention how beautiful and perfect he looked. Though, he also looked a little too young to be a ruler of life.

"Oh, hello!" He heard the younger male say.

Yoongi was speechless to how cute the younger male's voice was. "H-hi."

"Are you the ruler of death?" The younger male looked curious.

Yoongi nodded.

"Oh, that's so cool! I'm Jeon Jungkook if you were wondering."

Jeon.. Jeon Jungkook? Such a cute ass name Yoongi noted.

"Min Yoongi."

Jungkook suddenly had a warm smile across his face. It looked so cute that Yoongi couldn't stop himself from blushing.

"Ah, how old are ya? You seem pretty young for the ruler of life."

"Twenty," Jungkook said while patting the flowers in his arms. He looked at Yoongi while wrinkling his cute little nose, "You're very nice, excusing you as the ruler of death."

Yoongi slightly expected an "I like you a lot" at the end of the sentence. He felt slightly disappointed when Jungkook stopped speaking to fix the flowers in his arms. "Twenty? That's young."

"So what's your age, you silly dummy?"

"Ahah, twenty-five."

Jungkook tried mocking Yoongi's deep voice, "Twenty-five? That's old!"

Yoongi found it adorable, but he started to question if death was really even allowed to love something- or someone so opposite of him. Ever so, can life and death ever love each other?

"I'm surprised you haven't killed me yet," Jungkook spoke, breaking the silence of Yoongi being drowned in his thoughts. Yoongi had then noticed how he cupped his hands over Jungkook's slightly bigger ones.

Yoongi sighed and took time to examine Jungkook enough, as if he hadn't done so a million times already. He was taller than him, yes, but he looked so small too. It was complicated for Yoongi to process, but he also questioned why Jungkook was so nice to him. Was this a trap for Yoongi to be caught, and being thrown off his role as a ruler? Or was it really a special bond between life and death?

All that Yoongi could answer is that death really has found something, or someone to love. But this bond of love would be stronger than Yoongi could ever think of it as.
