We are friends, yes we are—
Good friends exactly,
But am I not enough for you?
To be called as your best friend?
We make memories together
We laugh with our lame jokes together
We bully each other
We have each other when we are in need.
I call you best friend---
But you call me 'hi friend',
What are your standards?
Just for me to be called as your best friend?
I asked myself,
Am I not the friend you wanted?
Am I not the friend you can boast of?
I'm sorry, I'm just me.
