The Lunch Date was going great, Steve & Kathy were getting to know each other, & enjoying each other's company, as they were relaxing. Steve said with a smile, "So, Tell me about your life in San Diego, Kathy". The Agent smiled, & told him how she likes to spend her time in her hometown.
"Your husband sounded like a great guy, I am so sorry that you had to go through the pain of losing him, It's not fair or right that you went through that kind of hell". Kathy gave a small smile, & said, "Thank you, I am going to a support group, & therapy, I am gonna double my time there, Before I even think that I feel normal again", The Five-O Commander now dudes with understanding , & sympathy. He knew all too well.
"I understand, I do, I went through hell myself, I know this game all too well", Steve told the Agent, as he took a sip of his beer, & went back to the painful memory of losing his father, & he choked back the emotion, & then he smiled, cause it brought the Five-O Taskforce together. "Are you okay ?", Kathy asked, as she was bringing him back from his thoughts, & he smiled, as he answered her.
"I was just thinking of the circumstances that brought me home here to Hawaii, Even though it was sad, It brought me family & friends, I haven't had that in a long time, & it feels great to have people to back you up without hesitation", Kathy nodded, She knew that she had to make changes, as soon as she gets home to San Diego. Also, She wants to get to know Steve too, while she is here on vacation.
Kathy asked, "What does Commander Steve McGarrett do for fun ?", she asked with a smile on her face, & she ordered dessert, & insisted that he tries some with her, & the Five-O Commander agreed, & they each took s bite out of delicious berry cheesecake. "Mmmm, They were right, This cheesecake is to die for", Kathy said with a happy moan, Steve swallowed his food, & said, "It sure is", he said in total agreement.
Meanwhile, Danny & Amber were enjoying their vacation, & having fun at the cabin, Not letting anything disturb their time together, & just enjoy what their relationship is offering them, so they can never be sad again. The Couple were having fun in the water, til it was time for them to have lunch, & figure out the rest of their day.
Chin, Lou, & Kono finished up, & went back to HQ, while Steve, & Kathy are on their lunch date, & having fun. Steve asked, "Can I call you sometime ?", as he was taking Kathy on a tour of Honolulu, Also, He wanted to spend some time together, Kathy smiled, & said, "I would love it", & they continued on with their drive.
Amber was glad that Danny was getting some much rest, & that he was able to relax. She sighed, & realized that she has to tell him about her true self, & what she is hiding for nearly two years, She loves him, & decides to tell him, while they are on their getaway. "He is the best thing thatever happened to me", she thought to herself, as she was cooking lunch for them. The Beautiful Blond will get what she wants, Cause she will work for it.
Kathy & Steve were enjoying their time together, & he brought her back to her hotel, He moved a piece of hair out of her eyes, She woke up, & smiled at him, & realized that they arrived at the hotel. "Thanks for today, Steve", & kissed him boy the cheek, &she went inside, The Five-O Commander left, after he made sure that she got in safe, & sound.
Steve got home, & he was glad to have a great day for a change, & he was changed, & wa ready to relax, & have a calm night. He thought about Kathy, & he was thinking that she is the right person to be with, cause they have the same interests, & want the same things in life, & in their future. The Five-O Commander found that he met his match, & likes it.
Meanwhile, Kathy was enjoying having a beer on her hotel balcony, where she can relax, & unwind for awhile, The Agent found that the former seal was not a bad guy, & hopes to work with him in the future. She missed her husband so much, but knew that he would want her to move on, & be happy. She smiled to herself, as she went inside, She said thinking to herself, as she talked to him, "Ilove you, Sweetie, & I always will", &she took off her wedding ring, & went right to bed.
Steve was excited the next morning, Cause he gets to see Kathy again, & he can't wait to see her again, & spend time with her. He was surprised that she wanted to spring for breakfast, but he told her okay. He waited for her, & whistled at the sight of her car.
"Damn, You are a girl after my own heart, I love your choice in cars", as he got in the passenger seat, & they were on their way to the diner. Kathy said, "I knew that you would like it", as she smiled bigger, & they continued on their journey, They are aiming to have another wonderful day. Steve feels like he can move on from Catherine, & move on with his life, so he could be happy once, & for all.
When they got to their destination, Kathy said with a smile, "Thank you for coming out with me again, I thought we can have a relaxing morning, before we do anything else." Steve was all for it, & said, "Definitely, I enjoy your company", That made the beautiful agent smile in response, as they entered the diner.
Danny was noticing that something was off with his lover, He decided not to push, til she was ready, & he decided to keep an eye on her, while they are on their romantic getaway. Danny trusts her, & he has no idea that she was hiding something huge, & major. The Blond also knew that his team was on backup, if he needs them.They are outside, & having fun in the ocean in front if the property, They had no idea that Frank was stalking them, & he was ready to get his revenge.
