"Hey you actually came!" Izuku had to stop himself from sputtering

"Y-Yeah-! Of course I would, you told me to wait here right?"

A lot of things are running through Izuku's mind right now, not any of them are heroic at all, his mom would be so dissapointed if she knew what Izuku was thinking

He quietly followed Mirio to a small coffee shop close to UA, he tried to pay for his chocolatechip Frappuccino but Mirio insisted, after all they were ordering the same thing, they sat down on a seat faraway from the window, practically at the
corner of the shop

"So uh, All Might said you were gonna f-fill me in right?"

"Yep, you already know about his quirk right?" Izuku nodded

"He wanted to pass it to me but I don't really want to be a hero, let me guess he gave it to you instead?"

"Yep!"

"I heard you're having field training with Nighteye? He's my mentor, you'll definitely see me there"

Izuku has never felt more awkward in his entire life, he'd rather take a bath with Kacchan instead

"Kacchan let's take a bath together after this" he said outloud in class

"We did when we were younger! What's wrong about it now?"

"Wait what do I do now? Well atleast I got it done before I had to go field training, hey were still gonna hang out after this right? You're not just gonna leave me alone right?" Yagi nods

"Good, I don't want another dad to abandon me"

"Nevermind, either way look at how pretty it is! If you weren't so old I would've thought we were going on a date!" Yagi coughed

"I am not that old, Midoriya"

"Maybe, either way, I talked with Mirio-san, he was so awkward, I mean he looks really cool! And cute and stuff... it's like talking to an internet friend you just met up with, oh wait you're old you probably don't know about stuff like that right?"

"Midoriya I am not that old-"

"Haha right you're ancient!" All Might sighed

"Either way, now that you've done all the weight lifting stuff, would you be interested in learning how to actually fight? Your attacks are well calculated but it doesn't look like you have the skills to apply them"

"Haha says the pot calling the kettle black- hgck-" Izuku whined after Yagi hit him, it was none too gentle but it didn't hurt that much

"Yes or no?"

"Of course yes! After all I'm gonna kick some villain butt!"

"I know! But what he doesn't know won't hurt him! Come on just a little- ghrk- wow I didn't know you were capable of hitting me!" Izuku fake gasped
