people always used to ask us:
"what do you want to be when you grow up?"
i almost asked my friend this yesterday, before i remembered that it's not quite the right choice of words anymore.
because now we are grown up. and we're getting older. but not wiser. and i'm supposed to know what i'm doing. i'm not expected to have everything figured out, but i'm at least expected to know what i want to be doing when i leave school in five months, in five years, in five decades. i don't.
