The sound of high pitched screams filled the air. I loved it. The sound, though ear piercing, was like music to me. I watched as the crimson blood drained from the body. It was so pure. So perfect. I couldn't resist but to taste the sweet thick liquid. It smelled of metal, but I loved the smell. Maybe I'd gotten used to it? The screams slowly went from ear piercing to near muffles, before the noise was completely gone.
"Killed another one." I sighed, snapping my fingers. The lifeless bloodstained body began to be consumed by dark green mist, growing thicker by the second. As the mist cleared, the body was gone. I sighed as I sat in the empty metal chair, where the body had just been. Being a demon was hard. You played with a human until they died, then you had to find another one to play with. It got boring quite quickly.
As I walked done the empty streets rain began to fall from the heavens. The droplets gently landed on my hooded shoulders and head. The rain was always my favorite. Reminding me of blood dripping from a body, or tears from a child's eyes. My eyes were glued to the cement sidewalk under my feet, until a figure caught my eye. I stopped in my tracks and turned to face it. It was a girl, standing in a window. She had perfect hair, that complimented her face and eyes beautifully. She was stripping down for the night, getting ready to rest her sweet head. What was I thinking!? She's a human, I'm a demon! The only thing I can do is kidnap and torture her! I mentally scolded myself and sighed before continuing my walk. I couldn't get her out of my head. Her face. Her eyes. Her hair. I wanted her. I needed her.
"She will be mine." I said slowly. "No matter what!"
