Chapter|Eight🐾

"Let me know when you want the heat to go away." He says looking at me with lust before standing up and leaves the bedroom.

I'm sweating everywhere when Paige comes in a few minutes later.
"How are you feeling?" She asks and I groan while glaring at her.
"I'll take that as you are feeling like shit." She says and I let out a small snort.

Then I moan in pain as my head pounds more even if that was possible.

"What is wrong with me Paige?"I said wanting to know badly.
This pain was horrible it hurt like hell.
She chews on her lip in thought if she should tell me.

Paige wanted to tell her friend badly but she didn't know what Blake would do if he knew she told Tara.
Finally with a sigh she thought what the Hell?!
She will have to find out eventually.

"Have you ever heard of Werewolves?"She asks and I looked at her confused.

Out of everything that could come out of her mouth I wasn't expecting that.
"Like the movies? Or old tales?"I said.
She nods slowly as I still look at her in confusion.
"Paige,I don't understand." She opens her mouth to speak but when she does I can't hear her.

Ringing is in my ears and my sight is covered in black spots I can't see.
Then eventually I fell unconscious.

"Little one?"
"Little one?"
"Tara?"
"Ryland?"
"Do you know when she will be woken up?"
"Maybe In a few hours? Days? I don't know Alpha, the heat is infecting her body."

I suddenly jolt up and I see white lights everywhere.
My ears quit ringing and I hear a beep instead from beside me.
There's a heart monitor and it's connected to me by the IV.

Slowly my eyes scan the room until they land on Blake.

Blake.

His eyes meet mine and suddenly it's like I could breathe again.
Paige is standing pacing back in forth but stops when she sees me up.

"Tara!" She yells and rushes over towards me and checks me out.
"Are you okay? Are you hungry? Thirsty?"She asks spitting question after question out in lightening speed.

While my eyes just stayed onto Blake's.
He gives me a nod before he shuts his eyes and then the doctor comes in.

"Luna you are alright!" He says and I look up at him confused.
Luna?
Who's that?

"You have been out for seven days."He says and I choke on my spit.
Seven days.. seven days.. I have missed school.
What about my family?
Did they know where I was?

My heart beat speeds up on the monitor and I look over to Blake who looks annoyed.

"Leave us." He demands.
The doctor leaves but Paige stands there.
"Paige leave." He says growling at her.
I shrink back into my hospital bed at his tone.

"You need to tell her." She says and he growls lightly.
"No." He says and they stare at one another before she sighs and tilts her neck to the side .
Before leaving the room she gave me a small smile.

"Tell me." I said surprising him and myself for speaking up.
He watches me and his jaw ticks showing that he's annoyed.
