"Willow! Be careful!" Dallas called to his younger sister. "Quit being such a Buzzkill! i'm FINE!" She called back, hanging upside down from a tree branch. Dallas walked over, clearly concerned for his sister's safety.

"Look I just don't want you getting hurt, okay? We already lost dad....I don't want to lose you too....." He said looking down. Willow sighed before flipping down off the tree. "I know.....but you need to remember i'm not 5! I'm capable of doing things myself..."

He smiled softly before wrapping his arm around her neck and ruffling her hair. "Yeah yeah i know! Now come on....i'm sure mom is looking for us"

They walk out of the woods that are right next to their home and back to their small house.

Their mother, Charlotte, was waiting for them when they came back. "There you two are! Dinner is almost ready! Come on inside!"

"THERE THEY ARE! GET THEM!" A very angry, determined voice calls after two fiery headed teenagers that are running for their lives, for their freedom. The two teens duck into an alley and hide in a crack in the wall. One of them, a boy, is breathing heavily, clearly about to have a panic attack.

"Wh-what if they find us Scar.....wh-whats gonna happen to us....." He whispers, terrified. He buries his face in his twin sisters chest, hugging her tightly. "They won't....just....stay quiet....." She replies, rubbing his back gently, trying to calm him down.

An angry yell is heard from outside the alley. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU LOST THEM?! THOSE KIDS ARE NOT GOING TO RUIN THIS PLANET! THEY ARE NOT GOING TO ESCAPE THEIR DUTIES!" "We are sorry my lord.....they just...disappeared!" a slightly scared voice says. A loud crack is heard before the first voice speaks again. "NEXT TIME YOU LOSE THEM, YOU ALL DIE, GOT IT?!" A group of voices all say "Yes sir" before they all leave.

The boy lets out a small cry into his sisters chest. "Th-they are gonna find us....aren't they....."

"Not if we leave......" The girl says determinedly, picking up her brother and rushing to a cometport. "L-leave...? But...wh-where will we go...? What will we do...?" The boy asks nervously. "I don't know....but anywhere is better than here.....right...?" He nods before they sneak onto an empty comet. The girl then pushes them off, pushing them into space.

The boy sits with his knees to his chest, shaking heavily. The girl notices before crouching down next to him. "Phoenix....everything is gonna be fine.....okay....? I promise...." She says before locking their pinkies together. He smiles softly as they rocket through space and into the unknown.

AN: SHORT FIRST CHAPTER, I KNOW! I'm mostly trying to introduce basic story and backstory before i really get into anything super exciting!
