- Robotically In Love - (BNHA TodoDeku)

Prologue

AUTHOR'S NOTES:

It's my first time writing a freaking fan fiction about BNHA! Scared yet exciting to see how it would end up. I found this AU greenlit on Tumblr but I forgot who was the person that suggested it (°^°). I wish I could meet that person though.

The story might have a quirk thing going on to it. Updates would usually take 1-2 weeks with the latest being a month.

Dr. Hisashi Midoriya is always a busy man with his own company: Midoriya Industries. He would always risk to push the limits to create the best robots that would help aid humanity. He dedicated his life's work into research to find simple ways with the help of robots. He was married to Inko Midoriya, who passed away shortly after she gave birth to Izuku Midoriya. Hisashi knew it would make Izuku feel bad to know that his mother has passed in order for Izuku to be brought to the world. Hisashi would take long breaks and spend time with Izuku just to keep him happy.

The father and son bonding would go on until one day, Hisashi got a call from a foreign client:

Foreign Client: Good day, Mr. Hisashi Midoriya! I am Jake Mishima calling from San Francisco.

Hisashi Midoriya: Good day to you too, Mr. Mishima! What made you call today?

Jake Mishima: I called to tell you that we would like to have a meeting with you for a long-term partnership with Mishima Development here in San Francisco. We would like to ask you if you are willing to take this offer? The hotel and plane tickets are on us!

Hisashi Midoriya: Sure I'll take it!

Hisashi was filled with excitement and stayed like this until his own smile faded as he faced Izuku. As Izuku smiles at his father while playing with a ball, Hisashi couldn't help but feel worried about the little one. And so he asked:

Hisashi Midoriya: When will the flight depart and how long will I stay there?

Jake Mishima: Sir, your flight is scheduled on Next Tuesday and it might take you a whole month.

Hisashi, worried about the time he will be gone from his little cinnamon roll, couldn't ignore such important project but he wonders if he could bring along Izuku? But then his thoughts took him over as it would be unsafe for Midoriya seeing he is just a young boy.

Hisashi said thank you to his caller and puts down his phone.

"What should I do?", Hisashi sighed. It took him a while to figure out what will make Izuku happy while his away for a month until he came up with an idea.
He rants "I shall create a friend for you while I am gone!". He never mentioned about any caregiver or maids, he just thought of creating a friend or at least a robot friend. When Izuku asked about the call, Hisashi doesn't want to tell to his son that he will be gone for a long time, so he simply said "It's just a friend that is asking about something, Izuku!". The little one just hugged his father and told his father that he will be off to bed. As he sent his little boy to his bed, he couldn't take his eye off of Izuku. He could imagine his son without him, which saddens him deeply. He then marched out of Izuku's room and began making his robot for Izuku.

Hisashi worked day and night, programming and constructing the humanoid robot. When he was in the middle of his programming, he was having a little flaw into creating the smartest robot he has made. Everytime that he would program some emotions, some of these emotions won't get in for some reason. "Why can't I finish this quickly? I need it finished before Tuesday" Hisaahi grunted.  He couldn't help but just bang his on the desk until he noticed a little box that he has never opened.

He remembers that the box he claimed was from a close friend named Enji Todoroki of Endeavor Enterprises as he formerly worked alongside with Enji until he was murdered during the Hosu Attack. That event happened years before Izuku was ever borned. As Hisashi took the box, he saw a paper binded with a note that says:

"Hisashi! Since you've became successful with your robotics works! I decided that I leave a copy of my research about smart humanoid robots. You might need it.

Good luck!"

He untied the knots and lifted the cover of the box just to see a flash drive. He plugged this flash drive in a computer & he has recreated the emotional programming of the humanoid. "Somehow, I'm glad that Enji's details helped me program this into a smart humanoid bot." Hisashi said. He tinkered the robot for a few hours in his laboratory with details familiar to his old friend. Hisashi made the color of his hair red and white which represents both his Enji and his widowed wife who is currently in the hospital. His eyes are also bi-colored and his skin that glows just like Enji's wife's skin. He would get a wonderful mix of facial features from the two as well as if he was creating them a son. He will have a sturdy body framwork and a smart sensor that will respond accurately to anything. Just like the robot I expected him to be, he will be a fast learner. He believes it should be a boy so Izuku won't feel uncomfortable because he gets soft and afraid when he is in the presence of a girl.

It took him long enough until he completed his robot. He never knew that he would create the perfect robot for Izuku. He believes it will last for a long time, but the robot must pass the final test. The robot was then powered on and Hisaahi was proud with it. He has no bugs, no malfunctions, no problems whatsoever. He greeted the robot with a smile that is similar to Izuku's. Then he heard the robot's first words: "............Good day sir!"
He couldn't believe that he has perfected a robot. He screamed to excitement due to his success. He heard the door opened and covered the robot. "Do not make any noise! Just stay quiet" Hisashi whispered. He thought that it would be one of the maids but it seems like the person who came through the door is no other than little Izuku.

Izuku: Daaad............What are you doing?

Hisashi: I am just.......studying a project.......for your Aunt Mitsuki....hehehehehe...

Izuku: But isn't it late at night for you to work?

Hisashi: Don't worry I'm fine, just go off to bed now.

Izuku: Ok Dad...Good night!

Hisashi: Good night to you too Izuku!

Izuku waves at his father then left off to bed. "Atleast he didn't mind the scream I did!" Hisashi sighed. He then uncovered the robot. Hisashi apologized "Sorry for the trouble awhile ago, so I am Hisashi! I am your creator.", The robot said and smiles "I'm so glad to meet you! Mr. Hisashi! My name is ----". Hisashi didn't expect the robot to speak static sounds as he tries to state his name. Hisashi told him that he does have a name. "What is my name, sir?" The robot questioned Hisashi as he mutters about his robot's name. He then reminisced a memory where he is hanging with Enji while eating in an oden shop. Hisashi asked "If you ever have a son, what would his name be?". Enji was puzzled with this thinking he will be naming the child of Hisashi. Enji panicked "Aren't you the one who should name YOUR child?". Hisashi chuckled to this until he answered "I already have a name for him, but I was wondering what will your child's name be?". Enji then answered "Well, I always wanted a boy named.....Shouto.", then the two eat their oden happily. As the memory fades away, he thought of giving the name to the robot, in tribute to Enji and to give him credit for the program he gave.

He walked up to the robot and told him with a small smirk on his face:

"From now on, you will be named Shouto.......Shouto Todoroki! You will become a friend of my little Izuku and keep him happy. For when there comes the time I'm gone, I want you to be there for him, and for me."

It shocks me to see this happen and to see how long it took for me to take (3 days probably). Anyways, I hope you enjoyed it. Until the next week or so. XD
