"Hi." Kapil put the newspaper aside hearing a nervous voice.
"Yes?" he asked observing the mid 20 lad.

"Do you know Sarla?" he asked roaming his eyes around.

"And you are?" suddenly curious Kapil asked ignoring his question.
"I m Karan." he replied forwarding his hand but dropped when Kapil didn't. "Can you show me her house?" he again asked.
"Sry. I don't know." Kapil said.
"But the address....." Karan muttered suddenly unsure and call someone.
"Kaha ho?" Karen asked.
"Tumhare samne." Sarla said coming out of the gate.

"Tumse kaha tha na thodi kam khubsurat lagna!" Karan teased. Sarla just smiled.

"Hi Kapil." she said with a huge smile as usual but Kapil turned his face. Though she didn't show, she did felt a sting on her heart.

"But he ...... never mind.. Jaldi chalo." Karan pulled her towards the main road.

Karan and Sarla disappeared behind the bent road but the burning sensation inside his chest didnt. He felt like rescuing her from that Karan but irony this wasn't Bollywood movie. Anger bubbled inside him.

How could she leave him there alone? All those confession were false? Those cute anger when he flirted with other heroines wasn't jealousy? Didn't she used to plan about their marriage? Those tears when he had returned back were false? All the love he saw on her eyes was nth? NOTHING?

A lone tear escaped from his eye which he gracefully hide under his smile.

Kapil checked the time for like hundredth time. It was 10 pm already, more than 12 hrs since Sarla left with that Karan.
