Maya, Saanjh ,Ayaan (Saanjh's brother) were childhood friends (they were neighbours-Delhi). For higher education Maya and her mother(jhanvi) shifted to Mumbai.
It's been 7 years since they are living here in Mumbai. Maya spent most years of her life dedicated towards studies, to fulfil her mother's dream of business. She was so busy all these years that when her best friend Saanjh got married she didn't had time to attend her wedding too.

Aditya& Maya were two love birds .. but their life took a turn. Maya & Adi goes separate way as Maya had to set her career and to become independent. Adi blames Maya for them not being together , and he thought she actually never loved him ,
Maya life changes drastically because of 1 murder case happened in the same year when Maya and Aditya separated.
3years later .. Maya became a business tycoon she became bold and powerful. When Adi & Maya meet again as business partner Maya justify her love to Adi "you know I love you and I feel like I loved you forever no matter how hard I tried to fight it off"....
It's when Adi realises that he can't live without Maya & he needs her..
When they actually had a chance to be together again... Maya's past becomes a barrier.
