Chapter 1

'After 12 Years, BTS Has Disbanded Due To Unknown Circumstances'

You couldn't believe your eyes. The band, you had been a fan of since the Boy In Luv era was gone. No longer would you be able to look forward to their comebacks and performing live on the M Countdown comeback stage. No longer would you be able to go to their concerts and buy their merchandise. No longer would you be able to listen to their songs and Bangtan Bombs without feeling pain. Although you hadn't known the band personally, they had affected your life and several others.

You had no idea what happened. The members had seemed their usual selves after their comeback and now suddenly, they were disbanded. Feeling suspicious, you searched up BTS with a heavy heart and looked at their most recent song's dance practice video. You knew looking at the music video and live shows wouldn't help you. Idols have been trained how to act in public and would always hide their pain behind a smile. Even the dance practice video probably wouldn't give you answers, but you had to give it a shot. 

You watched all their faces and body language intently before pausing the film on who you thought was the most emotional member of BTS, J-Hope. He was doing the dance moves perfectly, yet it seemed almost like a job for him and it felt as if something was missing. J-Hope had always been a passionate dancer and seeing him dance almost lifelessly shattered your already broken heart.

Obviously, from his body language, something was going on. Cupping your face with your hands, you left out a shout before a single tear rolled down your cheek.

"I wish I could find out what happened and help BTS before it's too late"

Looking up at the sky, you sniffled. Their disbandment was only the beginning. Mess after mess, disaster after disaster, it almost seemed as if the boys were spiraling out of control. Like a Jenga game, it seemed that the more pieces were taken out of BTS, the more unstable they got before they reached the imminent end. Breaking and shattering into pieces.

Finally reaching the park, you shook the memories out of your head.

Y/N focus, You mentally scolded yourself. You need to figure out which company and group you should join. There isn't much time left before some of those groups debut.

You sat on the bench and watched as the children smiled and laughed with each other. Some chasing the others in a game of tag and others making sandcastles together in the sandbox. You wished you could be in their positions: being carefree and not having to have a responsibility on their shoulders.

SM, unfortunately, is out of the question. Red Velvet debuts this year and no matter how good you are, they already have a lineup planned out, You thought frowning slightly. Twice wouldn't work either, unless you want to replace a member, which isn't something you want to do. Black Pink might be your only shot. By this point, Yang Hyun-suk already has an idea of what type of girl group he wants but I'm sure if I work hard and train he might tweak his plans a little.

With a smile on your face, you looked back at the children one last time before walking home. It seemed that you needed to prepare for a trip to South Korea. One that might stop the curse you seemed to have.

AN: The first chapter is finally out! Although I've updated two days in a row, I do not know if I'll be able to continue due to soccer starting soon and I always seem to be able to write better late at night than during the day. I will probably create an update schedule soon so stay tuned for that!

Now, onto the actual story. I'm sorry if it's a bit confusing but everything will be explained in the end. You are continuously stuck in a loop that starts in 2014, where you see BTS live for the first time. That's why joining Red Velvet would be unrealistic. You couldn't join Twice either because the show they stared on to get their spot probably only secured nine spots (Idk if that's how it actually works, I like Twice's songs but I don't really know much about them). Black Pink is even a stretch since the girls have been training for years (before 2014) but it's the only girl group that debuts later that could be a bit realistic since you won't be suddenly joining the group and being some "prodigy".

Also, I personally love GFriend to death (my favorite girl group besides EXID) but I don't see them becoming as popular as Twice and Black Pink anytime soon. But hey, BTS, a band that came from a basically unknown company because extremely successful, maybe GFriend will follow the same path?

As for how old you are, it can honestly be whatever you want (I'd probably stick with being over 18 though since BTS at this time period isn't underage). This story will have romance eventually; however, I enjoy creating long stories that explore character personalities and created a plot before getting into romance (I do enjoy BTS fics where they instantly fall in love sometimes too though :P). This story probably won't be a fluffy, happy story. Sure, there will be fluff, but the reader knows the future of BTS (something you'll find out later) and has been stuck in the same situation multiple times. She's confused on why she's in the situation she's in while also not knowing what she should do and what is the right choice. Obviously, she won't be some happy-go-lucky person that has no care in the world.
