Chapter One

Summer it's finally fucken summer, god oh how I love summer. My family and I are going to our beach house and im allowed to bring one friend for the entire summer and of cause im taking my best friend Adam.

Adam and I have been friends since pre-school, we like brothers my parents treat him as their own and the same goes for his parents.

I have a girlfriend named Tiara we've been dating for 2 years and she literally means the world to me. Adam also has a girl but they not really dating , just vibing whatever that mean.

We were currently on our way to pick up Adam , and then we'll be driving for 5 hours before we'll be reaching our destination, kill me now, atleast I'll have Adam to entertain me. And finally we arrived at his house.

"Morning, Monica and John" he greeted my parents as he walked to the car , I got out and gave him a bro hug then quickly helped him load his things into the car.

We both got in the car and the long drive began.

We made small talk with my parents but I quickly got annoyed and listened to music, while Adam continued to talk to them, I eventually dosed off.

After 3 hours of driving we stopped at a gas station to fill up the tank and my parents got out to get us something to eat.

"So how's things with Tiara going ?" Asked adam. I raised my eyebrows at him since we never really talk about her due to their hatred for each other . I honestly have no idea why they hate each other so much to be honest, but ever since Tiara and I start dating two years ago Adam never liked her, he always use to tell me about what a bitch she is, which kind of annoy me since he's my best friend and is suppose to support me.

"Things are great, she's lovely im just glad we so solid, two months without her is gonna be hard" I replied just realising that I won't see her for two months suddenly feeling sad.

" Don't worry you'll live." He replied rolling his eyes.
"Will I though?" I thought not really meaning to speak out loud, but just thinking will we survive three months is really wrong time, I love her but will our love be strong enough, will we survive ?

"Oh of cause you will, all you have to do is forget about the little rat" he said and I instantly glared at him, " don't talk her about her like that!" I demanded he just raised his hands in surrender with a laugh, clearly thinking this is funny. Just then I heard a beep in my pocket, which is clearly my phone indicting that I have a new message. I quickly fished my phone out of my pocket and saw that I have a message from Tiara.
Tiara : baaby☺☺☺☺☺💖💖.

I was busy watching a movie man babe & all i saw was the whole time couples and couples and I was thinking about you😳💖💖

Me : Aww my baby man, I miss you more😢😭😍. Wish you could also come with but you know how strict my parents are😭😡🙄.

I clicked send and looked up to see Adam staring at me, as if he's trying to figure something out. I heard him sigh and suddenly he's whole mood changed and he just look sad, I felt my heart breaking as he looked so fragile and broken.
"Bro, hey look at me, what's wrong, what's with the sudden change of mood , you can talk to me you know right !?" I told me, I heard him breath in deeply, " it's nothing it's just ever since you started dating Tiara I started getting these w---- Just then my phone beeped I looked down and saw it's another text from Tiara.
I left the text and motioned for him to continue,  "no it's okay answer the text, she's probably expecting a reply immediately" he gave me a soft smile, I grabbed my phone and quickly opened the message.

Tiara : I know baby, but don't worry these two months will fly by quickly😭💃👅, I'll always be waiting for you babe😍❤. It'll always be us, I love you sf much you have no idea what you mean to😍👀🤗, you the best thing that has ever happened to me💕😳😚

Me : Awww baby, you and your paragraphs, you know I love you more😍 can't wait for this to be over so I can be with you😍😏👅💦 but I have to go now baby, my parents are threatening to take my phone if I don't don't join in on the conversation soon😂😭💕, I love you baby😍😚 my everything evens😍😚🤗.

Okay so I know I lied to her but I had to stop it one way or another otherwise the texting would've gone on forever, and my best friend needed me , im not saying that I choose him over her , its just he really needs me I've never seen him this way before.

When I looked up from my phone, he was looking out of the window, "Adam?" I called out to him, he just continued looking out of the window. "Adam?!" This time I grabbed his shoulder and turned him around, what I saw broke my heart all over again, my best friend was crying and he never cries, and im talking about never, ever since I've know him he has never cried.

I grabbed him and immediately pulled him into a hug this is so unlike him, "whats wrong Adam, talk to me whats going on?" I asked him sincerely.

"I have no idea why this is happening to me, im so fucken confused, I don't know what to do, c-aaaa-n y-o-u he-elp me figure th-iis o-oout"? He asked, slightly stuttering.

"I'll help you with anything you need I swear, anything, ill help you get through it, I promise you ill always be here for you, no matter what, I've never seen you like this before and I wanna help you, but first I need you to tell me what's wrong." I whispered in his ear. Whatever it is im sure it's not that big of a deal right, I'll be able to help him right ?

"I...uhm...I, I think that, that I'm....
