My final day

I knew today was going to be a bad day, but I didn't expect to come home to two dead bodies. I knew I would be bullied by my friends and I knew I would have a hard day, but who could have seen this coming.

My breath was lost at that very moment. The life in my eyes slowly melting away. I became hysterical and all I remember after that was dismay. The walls in the warm black room were being destroyed. I could hear the wailing high and low sounds coming for my home and the crowd of my neighbors surrounding me. People were trying to lift and pull me off the dead bodies, but my rage and dismay held me down. I was clinging to them. Never wanting to let go. Their vibrant firebrick red blood covering my clothes as their warmth started to leave. All of a sudden all my dismay left and I was beginning to fill with grief. My strength left me and the people trying to take me away where now able to. I would never see them again.

...

Landon Wilder, my best friend, held me in his arms saying words that I couldn't hear. The smell of him, sweet, comforting, and his soft hug helped soothe me.

"Hey, look at me." Wilder's big dark blue eyes staring at me. The pain in his eyes was clearer than Blue Lake.

"What do you want?" I mumble through my cries.

"Your best friend is here and he is amazing. He also refuses to let you cry this much." I laughed through my wimpers. This boy always knows how to make me smile. I love him for being my best friend.

"Thanks for the laugh, but what am I supposed to do know?" I knew I brought the mood to a much sadder tone, but I needed to know what was going to happen to me.

"You can live with me. I have enough room in my apartment." He's right, his apartment is huge.

"Thanks. I love you." I'm excited to be staying with my best friend.

"I love you too."

We get off the bench in a park. How did we get here? I don't remember what happened, but I'm sure he brought me here to calm me down. I saw his car and looked at him. It was on. 3... 2... 1... GO!!! I ran as quickly as I could, but he still beat me. I saw that coming from a mile away though. I can't beat the football captain and I never will.

Once I got into his car he turns on the radio. He started to go through the many songs when I stopped him at one. It was the song I was listening to when I first met him. He of course doesn't know this, but what good would it do if he did know. After came on many other soothing songs and I guess I fell asleep to the music playing.
When I woke up we were in his apartment.

"Did you carrying me up here?" I asked as soon as I woke up from my nap.

"You are as light as a cloud. Carrying you up here was the easiest thing in the world." He said trying to seem impressive.

I grabbed a pillow of the couch and threw it at him. It smacked him right in the face. His big dark blues eyes stared at me as he picked up the pillow and once I saw it in his hands I ducked. He didn't throw it. Oh gosh I'm screwed. I poked my head up slightly only to see no one there. The back of my head gets hit. My body twisted to look for a stupid smile on his face, but I didn't see anyone. I turned my body back to where it was only to be tackled onto the couch.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHH! Get off me you fatty." I laughed. We fumble around and I'm able to throw him off the couch,

"Oof! That was surprisingly painful." He said as soon as I had kicked him off. I turned to look at the mess on the floor. He looked like a wreck there on the floor. I made a goofy smile and closed my eyes. That was a big mistake. The second my eyes closed I was pulled down. Wilder started to tickle me and I bursted out laughing. I started to fight him off again and I ran to his room.

His room was filled with everything football. I love his room. BAM! Tackled onto his bed.

"What did I do this time that deserves to be tickled then tackled?" I yelled through his laughs while I tried to fight my smiles.

"Just love to see you smile." He laughed. My hair was now somehow covering his face and we laughed. His shiny white teeth shining through with his big smile. Against my dark black hair it looked really funny.

"I love you." I said through my laughs.

"I need to tell you something," The joyous tone in his voice turned more uneasy. I didn't get why his voice changed at that moment, but I would soon. "I'm in love with you."

"What do you mean, you're in love with me?" I asked with concern rising in my voice.

"Virago, I'm in love with you. The moment I laid my eyes on you I fell in love. I know you can't deny that you love me too. Virago, will you be my girlfriend and one day my wife?" The affection in his voice was concerning to me.

WAIT! He just said he loves you. VIRAGO WAKE UP! Landon Wilder, your best friend, says he loves you. "Wilder, I'm sorry. I don't love you like that. I love you as my best friend and you're always there for me, but I don't love you that way." I said anxiously.

His eyes started to fill with irritation and anger. He grabbed my arm and pulled me off the bed. I'm flung to the ground and a loud thud came from my fall. My hip burning from the fall.

"WILDER! Why did you do that? Why did you just hurt me?" I screamed on the verge of crying. Wilder has never ever hurt me. He was always there to pick me up off the ground when the bullies would attack.

"WHY DON'T YOU LOVE ME? I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THERE AND YOU DON'T LOVE ME! I SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN YOUR FRIEND!" He was yelling loudly. I started to cry. He didn't care. He was throwing stuff. Wilder ran out the door. I was glad to be in a room without him, but I knew a storm was brewing. Clashing sounds came through the kitchen. I could tell that glass was meeting the ground.

With all the strength I still had I lifted myself up from the ground. My legs wobbled to the door to try to calm him down, but when I went to look for him I didn't see him. My mind became uneasy to the thought that he's here and that he wants to hurt me. I stepped out of the doorway and tried to find him being cautious of where I was going. Walking down the hall I saw the glass. Wilder didn't grab them and throw them. He had just pushed them all off the shelf.

All of the sudden I'm being pushed to the ground again. I could hear the cracking sound from my leg. His body had smashed against my leg and probably broke it in the process of tackling me. I struggle to move, but there's glass being held to my neck by Wilder. I didn't think I'd make it out alive, but I had to try.

"Wilder please don't do this," I said with my last bit of hope.

"I have always loved you! Only to learn you've never loved me! That you never felt the same!" Wilder said. He stood up from where he laid and stood over me. He walked to the kitchen and opened one of the drawers. Oh no! He walked back over to me and stared into my eyes. The anxiety and panic in me was building and the pain in my leg and hip was leaving. Adrenaline filled my veins causing all the pain to leave. I picked myself up to stand, but Wilder pushed me down. Hard. Another loud thud came from that fall. My hip roared again with pain from the falls.

"Why are you doing this? I thought you loved me!" I screamed to try to save myself. As soon as I said that I regretted it. His gun cocks and was now pointing at my head. I stared down that barrel waiting for the gun to go off. To hear the ringing boom and the pain.

"If I can't have you no one can." He says and pulls the trigger. GAH! My leg was on fire and I couldn't see anything, but I could hear footsteps coming. The loud thuds coming to save me. Sadly, no one would be able to save me. Wilder looked at me one last time. "I love you," he said and the gun rings.

The footsteps fade. The light leaves. The pain leaves. Everything is gone.

Virago Doe pronounced dead at 5:30 P.M on Sunday. May she rest in peace.

I will never be able to rest in peace and I hated Wilder for causing this day of sorrow.
