"No," Luke shook his head. "She's not my girlfriend."

"Yeah, she kind of is, mate." Calum rolled his eyes. "You don't remember anything from the last two years, I'm pretty sure I know your life better than you right now."

"Calum!" Ashton scolded, hitting him upside the head. "Shut up."

"It just seems so unreal, though. I mean, graduating High school and getting her?" He gestured to what he thought of as a stranger. "How did I do that?"

"You grew confident," Michael shrugged. "Is it so hard to believe that you grew some balls?"

Luke ignored his best friend. "Honest, guys, this is actually scaring me so much. It's like going to sleep and waking up two years in the future. Everything is different and I-I'm really scared, actually."

Ashton gave a sad smile, grabbing his friend's hand. "It will all be okay, I promise. Just please go to sleep. You'll go home tomorrow."

Luke smiled hopefully. "I still live with my mum?"

"Uh, well, you and your girlfriend have been pretty serious for a while now, so," Calum coughed uncomfortably. "So you both moved in together."

Luke's eyes widened in surprise as he looked around at his friends. "And none of you stopped me? You just let it happen?"

Ashton scratched the back of his neck. "You were so happy with her, I mean, even Liz approved, man. And how can you argue with that?"

"By hitting my upside the head and telling me how stupid I am, I'm eighteen-,"

"Almost twenty one," Michael corrected.

"Shut up! I can't do this! I can't wake up and be told I was in a car crash and lost two years of my memory! I can't handle all of this! You tell me that I have a beautiful girlfriend, I don't know her name! You spring on me that I have moved into a house-,"

"It's more of that place Jess lives in New Girl . . ."

"MICHAEL please shut up!" Luke begged, looking up at him with watering eyes. "All I'm trying to say is, I can't just jump straight into this world and live my life with all of this!"

Ashton was speechless. "Okay, Luke, um . . . here, you can live with the boys and I. We are all at the same university, so you can bunk."

Luke nodded gratefully. "Please,"
