Clary's pov

Backing up I hit something hard looking back I realised I hit a tree and there was nowhere for me to run. Jordan had already transformed into his wolf form he was growling at me closing the gap between the two of us became smaller and smaller till I heard her... Jenna she was here I could hear her thoughts she wasn't far; looking around again I see her merge from the bushes. What was she doing? She definitely going to get us killed!! She slowly made her way over to me and Jordan's head jerked in her direction breathing out I steady my breathing they can sense fear actually they can sense all my emotions father taught us this in training. My attention when back to Jenna her hands were up in the air and Jordan's attention was fixed on her frowning I looked at the two of them Jenna then Jordan they exchanged facial expressions well more Jenna Jordan just looked at her and growled a couple times was she linking with me is that even possible the only person who can directly link with wolves is Bradley the rest of us can just hear their train of thought through the link if we focus hard enough... that's it the link. Focusing my mind I closed my eyes and opened my link voices came flooding to my head, illuminating each one... nothing. Opening my eyes again Jenna was closer now. Getting closer she grabbed me by the wrist and pulled me behind her and shielded me with her body she moved back slowly I followed her lead. A wave of emotion came over me what kind of vampire can't defend themselves against a wolf here my mundane sister is saving my ass and I began to wept behind her I held onto her and shielded myself she tilted her head back far enough to not tear her gaze with Jordan but communicate with me

"Get out of her now run Brad and the boys are  waiting down the road in a blue SUV" Jenna whispered to me

Straightening myself so I was closer to her ear I held myself close using her as a shield

"I can't leave you here he will kill you" I whispered back to her

I have to do something maybe an element of surprise will work in our favour moving away from Jenna Jordan growled at me making me jump back behind Jenna . She began snapping her fingers at him almost like trying to get his attention back on her I had only seen this once and it was with Bradley uncle billy and father had taught him how to use his powers in such a way he can control the wolf before him was Jenna doing the same thing? If so how long has she known she could do this and who exactly would she train on? Jordan's attention was back on Jenna. She let out a silent breath and let go of me turning her body slightly she pushed me in the direction she came from

"CLARY GO!!!" She yelled at me

With instinct I was gone with the wind. I didn't care if Jenna saw me use my speed I had to get out of there. Some part of me felt disgusted that I was leaving my sister behind dad always said "leave no man behind we fight till the end" and here I am running away but what I can't explain is how Jenna is manipulating her powers father said she had a couple months before her turning and there she was using them how long has she had them? Did she keep them a secret from us? Oh god she must think if she tells us we will think of her as a freak. I need to tell father before this gets out of hand before she loses control and does something she will regret. Running over to the car I see the boys stopping in my tracks I jump into the back of the SUV with Braxton

"where's Jenna?" Bradley asked

"She told me to leave her" I told him

"Are you mad? She could get herself killed and you just left her" he yelled and hit the steering wheel

"Brad please trust me I'll explain when we get home" I pleaded feeling guilty

"Oh you better have a good reason behind leaving Jenna alone with a WOLF to father" he said starting the car
