When Kang Choding meets Kid

'Kids, I'm ho-' I was about to announce when my eyes landed on the most adorable sight I've seen in my entire existence.

Daniel and Min Jee both fell asleep on the futon being laid on the floor near the couch. The coffee table is placed aside, the top full of Min Jee's play cosmetics and Barbie dolls. Daniel is sleeping soundly on his back with Min Jee laying nicely on his chest.

I chuckle when I step closer quietly towards them. Daniel's hair is now filled with Min Jee's pink hair clips and a cute tiara. He even had on the fake earrings to match. His lips smudge with pink lipstick. Ahh, Min Jee or Daniel must have stolen one of my lipsticks in the room.

Seriously, what were they doing while I was away? I thought they weren't getting along?

Carefully I take Min Jee from Daniel and carry her to the guest room, tucking her in nicely before closing the door behind me gently.

I sat next to Daniel, placing my palm on his chest, trying my best to wake him up.

'Hmm...noona?' He croaked when I tap gently on his chest.

'Yes, I'm here. Wake up now sleepyhead,' I chuckle when he catches my hand in his whilst getting up to sit.

'Tired?' I ask, placing my palm on his cheek. His eyes look heavy. He looks just as handsome despite the messy makeup by Min Jee.

'I didn't know playing house and makeup is more tiring than dancing to Light choreography. Ahh, I fell asleep,' he said, stretching and playfully pulling me in for a hug before placing me down on the futon, him hovering over me.

'You look pretty,' I teased, my hands placed gently on his shoulder.

'Thank you. I want to hire Min Jee as one of our make up artist now,' he chuckles before leaning in to kiss me, despite having lipstick on.

'Noona, it's been a while. Why don't we...' he winked as he bites his lower lip.

'Oh, what's with you? A while ago you were upset that Min Jee stole all of my attention. Now you want to make love? What did Min Jee do to you?' I teased, my fingers lightly threading his hair.

'Min Jee is sleeping-' he was about to say when we heard a click, making us both sit up in a rush, only to notice that Min Jee is standing at the guestroom door, watching us.

Oh shit. How long has she been watching us?

'Daniel Oppa. I need to pee,' she whined.

I chuckle and glance at Daniel.

'What did you do to Min Jee? She never asks for help from someone she just met. How come she wants you to help her pee now?' I ask, slightly disappointed that Min Jee looks for Daniel first despite my presence there.

'We just played. That's all. Oh, Min Jee, I'm coming,' he said, getting up and sauntered towards Min Jee who has been waiting for him patiently.

'Min Jee-ah, you don't need me anymore?' I teased when they walk past me.

'I like Daniel Oppa more now,' Min Jee said, making sure she holds on to Daniel's finger.

'You hear that noona? She likes me more now,' Daniel said, giving me a smirk.

Aigo, this puppy.

'Min Jee-ah, we have to go now,' her mom said when she didn't let go of Daniel's hand, hiding behind his long legs, making all of us laugh.

'No, I want to stay here with Daniel Oppa,' she said, glaring at her mother.

Her mother glances at Daniel and chuckles.

'What exactly did you do with her that she's this attached to you? She's never like this before,' she said, still holding out her hand to Min Jee.

Daniel chuckles awkwardly before kneeling down to match Min Jee's height, gazing at her lovingly.

'Min Jee-ah, I promise I will come by your house to play with you soon, okay? You have to go home now otherwise your mom will be sad. Can you do that for me?' He cooed, holding Min Jee's tiny hand in his.

Min Jee reluctantly sighs and nodded before giving Daniel a hug and a kiss on the cheek. This whole scene warms my heart. I think I just fell head over heels in love with Daniel again and again.

'Thank you, Y/N, Daniel,' Min Jee's mom said before bidding us goodbye.

'You're great with kids. I'm surprised,' I said as I clean the mess on the dining table.

'There's a lot you don't know about me, noona,' he smirked, helping me with the dishes.

'You'd make a great father,' I said, passing the plate for him to rinse.

'And with whom will I father the child with?' He said, glancing at me.

'Whoever it is, she must be lucky,' I replied, keeping myself busy. Why are my ears suddenly felt like burning?

Within seconds he switches off the tap water and dried his hands before drying mine. Then he proceeded to take my hand in his and led me to the bedroom, leaving me confused.

'What are you doing?' I ask, stopping him just outside the bedroom.

'Making a baby,' he smirked, glancing at me before giving me a mischievous wink.

'You're crazy!' I scolded, playfully smacking his arm before laughing.

'What? You don't want me to father your child?' He teases again, following me back to the kitchen.

'Shut up and finish the dishes,' I said, throwing him the dry kitchen cloth in which he caught effortlessly.

'Yes, ma'am,' he said and immediately stands by my side, drying the plates carefully.

'We don't have to make babies if you don't want to. We can just make love-' he mumbles before I cut in.

'Ahh, jinjja!' I complained, lightly smacking his butt and proceeded to tickle him, making him laugh. But then again, who am I kidding when I know in the end, he hauled me over his shoulder and brings me to the bedroom, just the way he wanted to?
