Noona POV :

Finally 2 hours after my shift ended, I gladly made my way towards the exit past the main entrance. Just thinking about my day off tomorrow makes me excited. I smiled as I walked past the waiting area filled with patients. Just then-

Excuse me miss Y/N' a voice called out from behind me.
I stopped in my track and turned around, wondering who had called for me.
I was slightly surprised when I saw who it was.

'Mr. Daniel?' I asked, confused.
He stood there smiling nervously at me. He made his way towards me.

'Can I have a few minutes of your time?' He said, his eyes seem wary of the surrounding.
I nodded even though confused.

'Can we talk somewhere else? It's not safe here,' he said in a low voice, his eyes focusing towards the main entrance.
I turned my head towards the focus of his attention. There were a bunch of girls in a mob trying to get in the unit being stopped by the securities. Almost all of them screamed his name. Just then a man in his 40's came up to us in a worried look.
'Daniel, I don't think it's safe for you to come out now. You need to exit the other way. I'll call you once I have the situation under control,' he said in a hurry and then left, with a phone on his ear.

And that's when it hit me.

This patient is a celebrity.
I glanced towards the mob once again. And then I glance towards him. He smiled nervously at me, worry written all over his face, desperately needing help.
'Follow me,' I said, turning my heels the other way towards the back door.

'What now?' I asked as soon I close the door behind me. At least for now we're stuck here at the emergency exit and for now, we're safe.
'Let's hide out for a few minutes,' he suggested to which I agreed.
'I'm sorry for putting you into this mess,' he apologized, looking up at me with sincere eyes that made my heart swell.
'Oh, don't mention it. As long as Daniel-shi is safe,' I brushed off.

He chuckled silently as he got up and folded his hands over his belly.
'Hello, my name's Kang Daniel. I'm 22 years old. Nice to meet you' he greeted, bowing politely.
I was taken by surprise at his action that I just froze.
'Your turn,' he urged, chuckling silently.
'Oh,' I managed to say as I tried to process what he just said.
22 years old? Wow.

'Hello. My name's Y/N. I'm 29 years old,' I shyly said and bow.
'Oh, noona,' he pointed out, seemingly surprised.
'Yep, I'm noona,' I sighed, suddenly feeling very old.
'Can I call you noona? You can call me Daniel,' he suggested to which I nodded in agreement.

Just then, his phone rang.
'Yes hyung?' He answered, putting the phone on loud speaker.
'Daniel, you have to leave via other routes. It's still too dangerous out here. Just go hide somewhere safe and stay there until I call you. I'll come pick you up,' the manager suggested.
'But hyung, where would I go?' He asked but his manager has already ended the phone call.

'Maybe, you can hide out at my house,' I blurted before I could stop myself. What the fuck was I thinking inviting a random stranger to my house? I mentally slapped myself.
'Are you serious noona? You don't mind?' He asked again, unsure what to do in this situation.
'Well, unless you don't mind sleeping here,' I replied, trying a bad joke to lighten up the mood.
He laughed nervously as he scratched his head. That habit when he's unsure of things is kind of adorable.
'Let's go before the mob gets here,' I said without waiting for his response.
I'm sure at this point he has no other choice.

I led him towards the smaller pathway behind the ER and passing through the morgue, a pathway I know for sure the fans wouldn't even dare to use. As we were about to pass the morgue, he stopped his track, looking scared. At the same time, I could hear faintly the screams from the fans. Immediately I grab his hand in mine and tugged him along to hide at the pathway, leaning on the wall as we face each other.
'Noona-' he wanted to say but I quickly covered his mouth with my hand, glancing at him as I cocked my to the side, signaling that the fans are closing in.
'Let's run,' I whispered and starting running through the pathway towards my car.
'Duck!' I instructed as soon as I start the car and reversed. He did as told quietly.
As soon as we hit the highway, slowly and cautiously he came to a sit, remaining silent as his eyes glimmered at the sight.
'It's been a while since you've been out, huh?' I asked, glancing slightly at him, keeping my eyes on the road.
He nodded excitedly, smiling like a rabbit, turning his head from left to right, amused with just about anything. I chuckled silently and let him be.
