Early morning taking in the fresh air
Can't help but think about what we had
The stolen kisses, the terrifying nightmares
It all now makes me real sad
It's been a while since you left
A while since you've been gone
It's been a while and I'm still thinking
Why I'm left all alone
And as I walk in the garden
This once without you by my side
And as I look into the distance
I can very easily decide
I can see now what we had
Was a tragic affair
Which messed up both of us bad
And left me in despair
Ooohhhh what a tragic love affair
We couldn't escape from its hold
Ooohhhh such a tragic love affair
We were both so uncontrolled
Can still see the flashbacks of
Your car going over the river
Can still hear the splash it made
And you cried for help but couldn't recover
Can still hear my own screams of
Begging you to come back to life
Can still see the deadness that was
So evident in your eyes
And as I walk back in our home
Fated to be with no one by my side
And as I look at our photo frames
I can very easily decide
I can see now what we had
