In my current fanfiction, "The Only One (Phan)," Dan and Phil have just arrived in Tokyo, Japan for their holiday. Since Dan's birthday is going to occur while they are still in Tokyo, Phil mentions to Dan that he has a surprise planned for his birthday there. The spoiler is that one part of the birthday surprise is that Phil is going to take Dan to a fancy restaurant (yeah that's it, I'm sorry). Lol. I didn't wanna ruin anything big!
