Another day. Another dollar." Ming Lee said before closing her locker.
"It's just Tuesday right?" Alijah asked her.
"Unfortunately yes." Laila said taking a bite out of her granola bar.
Di'anna came walking up with Marie.
"She won't stop following me." She said rolling her eyes.
"I wasn't even following you." Marie said.
"Anyways ladies The Crew throwing a party this weekend. Are we going?" Ming Lee asked.
Everybody said yeah except Alijah.
"Alijah!?" Laila said.
"What?" She said looking up from her phone.
"Party this weekend."
"I'm going my brother's gonna be there and I don't want to be stuck in the house with my dad and my mom." She said.
"Okay it's settled. Be cute and sexy. Di'anna don't wear that damn dress either."
"No worries my dad made me throw it way anyway." She said.
The bell rung for first hour all of them had health together so they all walked there.
Alijah felt somebody bump into her. She looked up to see Vonte.
"Sorry lil' mama." He said flashing a smile before walking away.
"Ooohhhh I think Vonte feeling you."
"He's friends with my brother. Him and I are not going to work."
"What about August?" Di'anna said.
Alijah thought about it for a minute. "He's a fuckboy."
"Di'anna why would you say him anyway?" Ming Lee said.
"Because I can." Di'anna said.
