The Little Sister

* Chapter 19 *

•Kayela's POV•

I walked downstairs, smiling as I felt better about my new hair. I had earbuds in my ears, and I was still holding Bunny in my left elbow. I reached the living room, plopping down in my chair as I ran my fingertips over Bunny's ears.

"Oi! What happened to you?" I heard a voice over my music, making me pull out one of my earbuds as I looked up at Ayato's surprised expression.

"What do you mean? I just cut my hair." I shrugged, holding Bunny tightly as he stepped closer to me. He sighed and nodded, gently combing his fingers through my now short hair.

"I miss you, princess." He grumbled, looking down at me as I watched him. I sighed quietly, setting Bunny down before I got up. I had grown slightly in height, being at his chest now as I clung onto Ayato.

"I miss you, Oreo-sama." I mumbled, feeling myself get scooped up as he held me close to his body. "I miss my dorky triplets." I mumbled with a giggle, hearing him chuckle.

"Why don't you tell the other 2?" He asked quietly, slightly turning my body so I had eyes on Laito and Kanato. They looked nervous, watching me climb off of Ayato. I teleported infront of Laito and hugged onto him tightly, making him stumble.

"I miss you, Laito-nii." I mumbled, almost crushing him in my tight hug. Kanato had set down Teddy as he came over and joined our hug. Ayato joined as well, and I was in a group hug with the triplets.

"We missed you." I heard Laito whisper, gently kissing my head. "I'm sorry if we've been distant from you, angel."

"It's okay. I promise. I was overly sensitive." I whispered, standing on my tippy toes to grab Laito's fedora and place it on my head. I turned to Kanato and placed a sweet kiss on his cheek, smiling at him as a small smile crossed his face.

I felt 2 pairs of hands on my side, which made my eyes widen. I broke out in a fit of squeals and giggles as Laito and Ayato started vigorously poking my sides. I squirmed around and fell to the floor, the boys following me as Kanato smiled at my laughs. I kicked a little, turning around as I tried pushing their hands away and failing miserably. They soon slowed to a stop, watching me catch my breath with smiles on their faces.

"You guys suck." I huffed out once I caught my breath, before I sat up. I rubbed my face gently, stretching my back as I was healing better. "I wanna find Reiji. I was kinda mean to him too." I muttered.

"Not the best time. He's been a shithead all night." Ayato mumbled, making me giggle and stand up.

"I can take some sass from him, it'll be fine." I laughed quietly, hugging the triplets once more before I teleported into Reiji's office. He was with Yui, but he wasn't happy at all.

"K-Kayela! Get out of here while you can!" Yui cried to me, watching me with dreadful eyes. I rose an eyebrow at her as my eye darted towards Reiji's figure. He looked over at me, letting out a quiet sigh.

"Why're you here?" He asked flatly, making my eye narrow at him.

"Nothing, nevermind. It's not important. Don't drain her." I spat out, before I walked out in full blown jealousy. I walked out to the garden, plopping down on the concrete around it as I just looked up at the stars. I heard footsteps around me, making my head turn as I saw Subaru and Ayato.

"Jealous?" Ayato smirked, making me squint at him. "Don't worry, Reiji will be over her soon." He laughed lightly, my head turning back to the stars as I rubbed my eye.

"Why're you out her alone?" Subaru asked, sitting next to my sprawled out frame.

"Didn't want to bother any of you." I whispered, earning a scoff from them both.

"You don't bother us." Ayato countered me, sitting on the other side of my body. "We love having you around, we don't like when you isolate yourself!"

"He's right, surprisingly." Subaru chuckled, earning a growl from Ayato. Subaru's eyes narrowed at him, making me sit up between them.

"Boys." I scolded quietly, a smile on my face. "No arguing." I giggled, giving them both a kiss on the cheek before my eyepatch budged a little. I shifted it back to it's spot, before I heard more footsteps.

"Can I join~?" I heard the fedora boy purr from behind us, before he sat next to Ayato. I smiled and waved happily at him, earning a smile back.

"I miss when we would all hang out." I whispered. "Even though only half the brothers are here, it makes me happy being able to be around any of you." I smiled cheekily, feeling a foot poke me from behind.

"I'm here too, sugar." I heard Kanato mumble, sitting criss cross next to Ayato. I turned slightly, leaning into Subaru's lap as I smiled.

"Dorky triplets." I whispered before looking up at Subaru. "Dorky Subby." I smiled, poking him lightly. I heard two more pairs of feet walk to us, making my eyes widen as I saw Shu and Reiji standing there over us.

"You didn't invite us? How troublesome." Shu mumbled lazily, sitting next to Subaru and laying his head in my lap. I smiled and played with Shu's hair, before looking up at Reiji curiously.

"I apologize for being so rude to you." Reiji said sternly, pushing up his glasses. I used my free hand to reach up to him, gently grabbing his hand. I knew he wouldn't sit on the floor, but I caressed his hand lightly.

"It's okay, Reiji-nii." I hummed, smiling as I was with all my brothers. "I adore you guys." I said happily, gently kissing Shu's forehead before I giggled at the triplets crawling closer. I gave each of them a kiss on the forehead, before kissing Subaru's cheek and Reiji's hand. "My boys."

"Our little sister." They said in unison.
