beep beep beep beep beep be-

Beep? it thought I was dead? and I'm pretty sure nothing should be beeping while you're dead, or should it?

A groan escaped my lips as I tried to sit up only to fall back down holding my head, what happened?

falling, aunt may wait tony

I opened my eyes to look around the room to see tony sat in a chair looking at me

"hey kid how are you feeling?"

"w-what happened I-I was falling and then wait is aunt may ok?" I felt bad for asking questions but I needed answers, why was it so hard to remember all of a sudden. There was a pain some were inside of me but not physical I couldn't think why it was there and it confused me even more.

"you don't remember? well Karen called me saying something about your heartbeat and then you broke out into a panic attack I was coming for you when I figured you pulled your mask of not knowing where you were stepping you fell off the building a very tall one may I add. luckily I got there quick enough to catch you"

Now I remember but why was all of this happening "hey kid do you remember what caused this?" what caused this? did something happen argh! I grabbed at my head slowly sitting up.

"Pete I don't know how to tell you this but um when you came home from school the apartment was robbed I'm sorry Peter but your aunt didn't make it" I tried to look for any sign of a lie in Mr Stark's but there was none.

That feeling came again the feeling like something was clawing at you not allowing you to breathe.

'oh her she's dead shot her about an hour ago she's long gone kid and there's nothing you can do about it' 'any last words' everything came back walking in the house, holding mays dead body. everything.

I looked at Mr Stark begging him to help me breathe "M-mr. s-stark, can'- b-breathe" my voice sounded like it was underwater everything was... my eyesight was blurry and everything sounded blurred and through it all, I could only think one thing.

she's gone. dead. and she's never coming back. I'll never get to hear her laugh or see her smile again and its all my fault.

Suddenly arms wrapped around me and the muffled voices came again. I looked up to see a blurry Mr Stark looking down at me I then noticed that it was his arms wrapped around me and it was his voice that was muffled.

I buried my head in his chest hoping to find comfort, to forget and that's what happened, a thick blanket of warmth swallowed me and everything was gone, all worries and all fears.

😎Tony Stark's POV😎

"Pete I don't know how to tell you this but um when you came home from school the apartment was robbed I'm sorry Peter but your aunt didn't make it" as the words left my mouth I watched as realization crossed the kids face.

"M-mr. s-stark, can'- b-breathe" with those simple words I ran to Peter's side begging him to try breathe, not knowing what else to do I wrapped my arms around the kid.

It hurt seeing the kid so broken to see a once joyful and happy kid break down and beg for help, feeling peter shake while he sobbed into my chest only made me want to cry with him.

All I wanted to see was the smile that was always on his face I wanted him to be happy I wanted to hear his laugh, but because of one person, all of that was gone.

Peter started to calm down more and more but the tears didn't stop "Pete I want you to listen to me ok I'm not going to let anything happen to you and no matter what I have to do I'll make you happy again" I paused for a bit and looked down at Peter.

"and I know it hurts Pete it will do and it's going to hurt for a while and when you think your fine it will come back at you but no matter what I'll be here for you, you may think your alone but you don't need to be, take it from me a guy who lost everything and turned to bad things to solve it, they don't work but then I met Pepper I met the Avengers and I noticed that I don't need to do things alone. I might not show but simple things hurt me more than a bullet could like old photos or even nightmares they always will hurt you but in the end, it will be fine and that's a promise."

I heard Peter sniff and he pulled away slightly "Thank you so much, Mr Stark"

"no problem kid" The feeling of arms being wrapped back around me made me tense up but when I noticed it was just peter I calmed down "get some rest Pete" I mumbled as I started to run my hands through peters hair remembering when Pepper used to calm me down by doing the same thing.

I slight nod and a small ok told me Peter was already half asleep, laying my head back I started to slowly drift into a sleep with the last thought on my mind 'what's going to happen now?'
