Born aboard her mother's ship at sea, Aine was raised in Ireland along with her siblings.
She was the only one of Eabha's children to get a middle name, Eibhlín, which was the name of Eabha's mother.
Aine sailed with her brother Padaí for many years, despite having her own ship, An Nathair, which she stole when quite young and only started sailing after Padaí's death.
She never married or had any children.
