"Today might be the day, Eliza!" My best friend, Taya, said to me. "What, the day for you to get adopted?" I said. Taya looked at me with the look one of those confused emojis on her face ( :/ ). "No, the day for you to get adopted." She said. I sighed. "Tay Tay, I highly doubt it. Nobody ever wants to adopt a nine year old. Especially a smart one." I said, doubtfully. "You're always negative. Aren't you able to think on the bright side for once?" Taya asked. "I'm not always negative. Only sometimes!" I grumbled, then I crossed my arms. I didn't like it when she called me negative or sad. "Then act like it, Eliza." Taya said, kinda smirking at me.
Cory's POV
I was playing Would You Rather for a video, when I saw one question; 'Would you rather be married or adopt a child?' I had to think about it for a moment. I had my answer. "Alright you guys, I'm gonna pick 'Adopt a child'." I said to the camera. When I clicked it, it said more people had picked get married. I sighed and continued with the video
Time skip to the next few hours
After editing and then publishing the video, I thought about that question. I though to myself, 'Maybe I could actually adopt a child.'
