(The actor used for Dana Alichi will be Camila Mendes.)
Dana's POV:
Los Angeles, I've wanted to move here since I was sixteen. It's been my dream, living in a high established apartment, a model. And eventually starting my own family.
However, I soon began to realise that, that was all it was. Until now.
Because, now I'm living in a mediocre apartment in LA.
And scoring myself a job.
I looked in the full body mirror in my bedroom, I wore a white camisole crop shirt and a pencil skirt accompanied by cream gladiator heels.
My phone began to ring,
"Hello, Dana?" I sighed in relief, my best friend and baby sitter for my baby of 1.
She had ginger curly hair and the sweetest button nose ever, with brown eyes that matched her fathers, unfortunately, my ex, Henry, didn't cut out for the job. He went for one scan and then bailed. But that was fine, my best friend gladly stood up for the baby sitting job and has not let me down.
"Yes Angie?" I replied,
"Im making my way up to your apartment now, good luck for the interview!" I thanked her and we ended the call, she used the key to enter and immediately went to Leia, my daughter.
"I know it's spur of the moment and thank you again!" She smiled,
"It's fine go before you're late!" She shooed me out the apartment and I made my way to the interview.
I stood outside the tall building, it screamed business and it was intimidating to say the least, the sun peaked out from behind it, casting a warm silhouette that covered the city.
I pep talked myself and finally entered, the interior was a colour of nudes and browns, with large windows which allowed the sun to enter easily.
Overall, it was welcoming. I made my way over to the receptionist, a man with greying hair and a sharp jawline, laugh lines and cool blue eyes greeted me.
"You're here for the 10 o'clock appointment, interview with mr. Macahon?" He waited for an answer.
"Yes that's me, Dana." He shook my hand.
"Take the elevator to the fourteenth floor, you're early but you'll be allowed in." I nodded.
I exit the elevator, sitting in a small waiting room. The colour scheme didn't change. It was nice and consistent. Refreshing.
I must've zoned out, when I came to, a woman stood infront, clearing her throat. "Your the interviewee right?" Her black hair was tightly pinned back. With light makeup, dark eyes and a file in one hand. She was the epitome of strict. I hoped Mr.Macahon wasn't as bad.
"Follow me, he's been waiting." I checked my watch, it was now twenty past.
"Shoot I'm sorry, I zoned out!" She smiled curtly.
"It's fine." We now stood outside an office, she gestured me to enter.
A/N: the chapters fairly short, but it's the first chapter I don't normally do them too long. I hope you enjoy my stories, criticism and opinions are welcomed, do not hesitate to correct any of my mistakes.
