Fade

12 3 2

 Every smile, every laugh,

Is fading too fast,

Tears and pain,

Arrives too soon.

I kneel in front of him,

I beg for mercy,

There are tears and,

I beg for him.

I lift my hand,

I beg for the smile

I cry from pain,

I beg for the laughs.

I imagine him,

Embracing me closer,

But as I reach closer,

The faster he fades.

The smile I prayed,

To see every day,

Died down into a,

Lifelong frown.

The hands I wished to hold,

As long as I live,

Is so deep underground,

Out of my reach.

I wished he would,

Live for an eternity,

But reality can be,

A painful truth.
