Paperwork piled up on my desk, being swayed and sent flying by my fan that whirred and buzzed with each quick spin. The summer heatwave was coming, and you could easily tell. It was burning hot outside, inside and on all sides. It was the time when you sleep with one leg out of the covers and pray that a monster doesn't drag you off your bed to your death. I sighed, sighing another contract to ensure that my insurance would be renewed and trying to ensure i still had a job after my five-days off to go gallivanting with my possible-boyfriends. 'Who knew you could grow to hate your signature so much when you're a lawyer?'

I sighed, looking down into my hands as i rubbed my temples. Despite my already busy time trying to get on top of work, I still had to make a choice. Five men wanted me to date them, and I love them all. I didn't know which one to pick. It seems so petty, like a not-problem. Most girls wish that boys would love them and want them, but five guys seems a bit too much. I mean, yes, I'm one year below legality, but all of them have said they'd wait for me. My question was, would they really? Of course, there was also the issue of my nighmares, that still plagued me with unanswerable questions.

'Okay... lets go through the options...' I gulped, sitting down at my desk, resting my head in my hands. Slowly, I rubbed circles into my temples and shut my eyes, imagining them all in my head, with a soft blush dusting my cheeks.

Gumshoe was handsome and kind, like a misunderstood gorilla. Maybe he wasn't the brightest, but he was kind and sweet, nothing less than lovely. I kinda fell for how persistent and flustered he was. Of course, I was still rather creeped out by how stalkerish he was back in the day. Not a case went by when Maya didn't mention him asking about me.

Phoenix was gorgeous, aloof and sarcastic, with a sharp tongue and a good ear. You know what they say: marry a defence lawyer, love a sass-master. At least, they say that about Phoenix. I fell for how nice he was, and much he professed his love for me. Still, he's my boss and seems difficult when trying to talk about love itself after Dahlia.

Edgeworth was... different from the rest. He was handsome and sharp-witted. I always smiled when I thought about him, since he seemed to be my intellectual equal. Not to toot my own horn, but he and I just seemed to be drawn to one-another. But still, being as smart as your lover tends to cause problems, especially when you're both professional arguers and both on the opposite sides ot the court system.

Then, there was Godot. He's certainly dashing and quick with his responses. He was always like that, but now he seems more sarcastic, and it only made him hotter. Godot was once Diego, my sister's boyfriend and my mentor. He'd said he liked me on our date, but I couldn't shake the feeling that he only liked me because of my similarity to Mia.

And of course, Larry... Larry was adorable and cute, like a child in a man's body. He was cute in the way he acts, the way he looked and the way he could flip-flop from one thing to the other. I guess that was also bad; he could easily flip-flop away from me.

I had one choice to make, and multiple options for it. I gulped and walked to Maya's small office, knocking the door. She looked up and smiled. I smiled back, so glad to see that we were okay now. We'd been so tense before, so to be able to smile at each other now, was a blessing. "Hey there, Y/n." She grinned, cockily as she stood up. "What do you need?" I gulped, scratching the back of my neck. "Could you... do me a favour?"

"Depends on the favour." She said, giving me her big sis questioning eye. I gulped and looked down, fiddling with my hands awkwardly. "Could... could you channel Mia please? I need her help with something..." I blushed.

Maya smiled. "I'll do it..." She said, grinning. "BUT!" She giggled. "You have to tell me why~!"

I sighed and gulped, blushing madly. "I-I need her to tell me who she thinks I should be with..."

"What?" She grinned, knowingly as she feigned ignorance. "You're being asked out? At last! I knew they'd all ask you out sooner or later, Y/n!"

"What..?" I flinched, tilting my head.

"Well, I knew Gumshoe liked you since he always asked about you, Nick always gave you loving looks when you turned away from him – honestly, he looked like he'd get out of his seat just to hold you!- and well, Larry was inevitable, and Edgeworth... well he's smart, you're smart. It's perfect! And Godot... I don't know about him, but I could see something happening!" She rambles on, giggling and smiling as she listed off them all.

"Was I..." I rubbed my temples. "Was I the only one who didn't see any of this?" Maya giggled and nodded, teasingly. I gulped, blushing and looking away. "I wouldn't ask unless I needed the help..."

"It's okay, I'll channel Mia, but you have to tell me what she says, ok?" Maya grinned, putting her hands together, ready. I sighed and nodded. "I'll tell you all of it, ok?"

She grinned and put her hands together, coiling her index and middle fingers together as she shut her eyes, letting power flow through her. I watched in awe of her power as her body swiftly morphed into that of my other sister.

She had Mia's face, mole and breasts. Her hair was the same, black and long. Her clothes didn't quite fit, but she smiled anyway. She was always comfortable with her body, the opposite of me. I liked to wear clothes that fit and looked good, but I never showed my cleavage, or accentuated other feminine assets I had.

Mia smiled down at me, putting a hand on her hip. "You've done a lot of good, Y/n." I hugged her tightly, nuzzling her. "Mia... I missed you so much...I-I... I wish I could talk to you more..." I gulped, looking up at her. She smiled, petting my hair. "When your powers strengthen, you can. I've seen everything that's gone on, Y/n." She said, her voice going quite serious. I gulped.

"E-everything?" I whimpered, pulling back and gazing up at her. She smirked and giggled.

"I never knew you'd grow up to be such a heartbreaker. Even Nick likes you, and he hasn't been the same since... Since Dahlia." She smiled weakly, putting a hand on my shoulder. I sighed, looking down. 'Maybe heartbreaker wasn't the best choice of wording, Mia...' I thought, sighing loudly.

"Mia, I need to ask you something..." I whispered, eyes down as i felt my heart beat in all arteries, even my thumb! I shuddered and sighed, trying to hide my blush and stay calm, before looking up at my sister.

"Ask away." She replied, eyes tranquil and benevolent. "I can only give you advice."

I gulped, putting my hands to my chest. "I need to know... which boy do you think I should go for?"

"Out of Nick, Larry, Edgeworth, Gumshoe and Diego, right?" She smiled, squeezing my shoulder. She giggled and smirked, tilting her head. "Well, there's only one choice... its:..!"
