"Mother please, I'm so sorry! It was an accident!" The young boy squeals out as he gets flung in an old basement. The mother shows no sympathy as she gives him a cold glare while arrogantly closing the door, leaving her son immensely broken and disbarred.
He runs his small and tiny hands lavishly through his sweaty black hair as he weeps in the corner of the basement, tears welling up in his eyes, blurring his already dark vision.
"Mother please... I'm sorry" He whimpers out through his unstoppable tears trickling down his swollen cheeks. He crawls over to a dark and dingy corner of the basement and sits there, hugging his legs as he buries his red face in the crook of his knees.
The dark night howls. He peeks over the small and jammed window that willingly seeps the moonlight into the blackened basement. The little boy wishes upon a small but bright star as he forces a smile to appear on his face,
"I wish to find someone who'll truly love me."
Present~
The small and once weak little boy who had no control over his emotions grew up from a helpless 14 year old boy to a stunning 22 year old male. Stunning, yet miserable.
His life was revolved around this basement, getting food from his incoherent mother from time to time but never dared to face her relatively older self after the decade had passed.
He's clueless and trapped in his still 14 year old mind. No education or source from the outside world, no contact from anyone, no nothing. The star he had wished upon still seizes to shine bright in the same place as he hopes to find a better life.
He situates himself in the same spot, day and night as he hears people's footsteps from time to time, birds singing, dogs howling. How he wished to experience the large world, how he wished his mother wouldn't be so cruel. The grown boy hasn't curved his lips into a blissful smile since the very night his mother locked him in the cold basement.
There's no point to smile when all he wants is to disappear.
He wants to abandon his miserable and sad life in the basement.
But he's still hoping that his wish would come true. He had wished on a beautiful daunting star that was shining out for him and only him.
If only the star would hurry up and give him the one thing he deserves.
A little bit of love.
Park Jimin needs love.
